Foo - Whatcha doin'?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
I wish I had the time and money. I haven't been to da UP in years. I could get there pretty fast, I worked with a guy who goes to Michigan Tech, he got there in 8 hours once, but it would cost a couple hundred bucks for the gas.
Well, we got some awesome biking up here (both road and mtn.) so start saving your pennies!
We had been thinking we were tough %$@&* for braving the 40's
Heh, don't worry about it. I'm sure I'd die from the heat if I went riding in Cali in the summer :D

My problem is that I haven't worked since the summer. I had a kick ass job for about 3 months, and now I'm living off my savings. Can't save any money, only spend it. Its likely that I'll be leaving the state after I graduate, so I really should come visit the UP before I do.

My buddies grandpa lives in the UP. They were at a bar once and a guy came down from canada. He said "Its 40- where I just came from, but its no big deal, its a dry cold."

We really don't see too many Canadians here. We have a big lake between us and Canada that keeps most of them out. Ya hear that FP?! You can't get us! :p

Drink a Monster (or Dew). Eat some chocolate. Life will be good.
^ Works for me
I've never snickered so much at other drivers in my life... and I don't mean in a playful way. I mean in a "I'm going to slash your tires because you cut me off" kind of way.

I was going to go to bed because I feel like crap, but I'm just not tired. Makes sense now that I think about it because I slept in until 11:00 this morning.
Oh sweet! 2 of my housemates just came home completely wasted! They want me to drive them to Taco Bell  I gotta have some fun with them, take advantage of them while they're drunk. :D :p

Holy crap...what a night. Two of my housemates were at some parties. One of the guys is pretty good, didn't have too much to drink. But the other one is just COMPLETELY TRASHED!! I mean, this is the most drunkest I've ever seen someone before. He wanted to go to Taco Bell. I was the only person awake who was sober, so I drove the two of them. We get there, go through the drive through, and while we're waiting to get our food, he opens up the door and starts puking. Not surprisingly, he doesn't want to eat his TB. I get them home and he's just going nuts yelling at everything. I feel sorry for all the people who were trying to sleep. After puking some more, he eventually passes out in his room. He's gonna feel awesome in the morning :D
I was sure to take lots of pictures  He threatened to "pummel" me if I put any of them on Facebook. He didn't say nothin 'bout bikeforums though! :D
Please, drink in moderation.

I'm listening to The House Of Hair. Dee is playing his new heavy metal Christmas songs. Good stuff.

I'm trying to tell myself that 46 degrees isn't that cold. Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.
OK maybe I'm a day late and a dollar short (story of my life?)
Yeah 46 is cold, but it wasn't too bad was it?

Sad news here...The news said that yesterday in the Christmas parade in Portsmouth NH a 9 year old boy was killed. No details. A couple days ago up in Freeport ME (home of LL Bean) a 3 year old girl was severely injured in the Christmas parade (she apparently fell or jumped off the float and was run over by the rear wheels).
I just finished cleaning the laundry room up cause the washer overflowed again. And I see a thread I made was deleted:(

Does the washer overfill? Have you tried different load settings to see if it does the same thing?
The timer is messed up. Great one more problem.

Something you can repair/replace yourself?
*edit* ...feel comfortable repairing/replacing...
man I just woke up from a nap. after eating and sitting there with the dogs watching the tree branches swaying in the wind. mmmmm, sundays.
I'm getting ready to take the family to get their first live Christmas tree.
I hope you're going to eat that tree after you kill it!
have fun!:D
Hmmm. Maybe burn it? It will be nice to have one that doesn't come in a box, or have a cord with a plug on the end. Even if it's just this one year.
Make sure you give it plenty of water, or the pine needles fall off and make a huge mess all over the presents!
No presents for my rotten kids! ;)

Trying to get myself to start writing a 10 page paper that's due on Tuesday. Yay...
Stupid Utah. No new cars, no alcohol, and no farkin Christmas trees on Sundee. What next? They're discriminating against non-LDS citizens.

We bought our tree yesterday. The first "real" tree in probably 15 years.
The nice thing is disposal. Drop it off at a designated location and the town chips them. Free mulch in the spring.

I am Christmas shopping online, and ending up looking at things that would be good presents for ME...
at least I found something for my dad, he's the hardest person to shop for.

No new cars on Sunday in Utah? What's that mean? And Flippin', all I've been doing is Christmas window-shopping for me. I gotta get off my arse and think about what I'm gonna get my loved ones. I wonder if they'd like bike themed jewelry?
