I'm overclocking my crap computer at work.
Pentium III 733 Megahertz to over 800. :)
The good computer is a Pentium IV 2.8 Gigahertz.
I want to get it to 3 Gigahertz, but that might hurt. :D
Will it make you talk faster?
No, but it will load the forums faster, when I'm supposed to be doing something else. :)

Well I was cleaning my bike after a week of riding. The front brakes were a little sticky (left front to be exact), so I pulled the left caliper off and found that the collar that holds the pin was broken. Soooo tomorrow I'll be replacing the brakes.
*edit* Siu, see what bad things happen when you clean your bike?

It would just be a little road rash.
Actually, when it gets real cold the brakes hardly work...grip that is.
Found myself looking for reasons to ride at night... Hey, I want a Coke. Hey, the corner store has Coke.
Word.
I love my new bike.
Traffic was rediculous today, on the way home from school I went to comp usa and it was crazy....
Ok man, it took us an hour and a half to get across the bay bridge, which normally takes 10-15 minutes. You don't know traffic. ;)

I used to travel to Oakland quite a lot in the 80's (visiting a motor shop in San Leandro). After a while I started using the southern bridge (whatever its called) to get to Oakland from the SF airport (I usually stayed near the Oakland airport).

I must've passed you going the other way. Sitting on 80 around 12:30 this afternoon?
3 car accident and bam, 10 minutes turns into one hour.
I had the same problem on Wednesday night at 6:30. Took me an hour just to get from Potrero Hill to Treasure Island.

I just went night shooting at my favorite sand pit. My friend came along, and brought his friend, who was brand new to shooting. I had a hard time teaching him the basics of how to shoot safely because it was totaly dark as we were in the middle of the woods. Luckily my FAL does have a light on it, and I left my car running with the lights on so we did manage. I found out some of my reloads were no good, but most fired. The best thing was how my friends friend was truly scared of shooting high brass 12 gauge slugs. It was hillarious.
Things we shot included a TV, a PC, water jugs, and aerosal cans which didn't explode because we had no flares.

Will do. I think a lot of these ranges have ties to the military, so there are a lot of guns available. I think it's legal enough as long as you don't leave the premises with one :D. I was just talking to a friend up in Beijing who has gone to a gun range way out of the city -- they've got Uzis, AK47s, and 50-calibre sniper rifles. This place that we're going to today seems to be in the basement of a building right downtown, so I doubt sniper rifles will be an option ;)

I hope not! Tell you what, most of the time indoor ranges get real pissy about using rifles, but the uzi's would be fun. Tell you what about the Uzi's and AK's, I've fired a few machine guns, and I've seen a lot more go off, and its like 2 seconds of datdatdatdatdatdat and 20 dollars is gone.

*Yawn*
I'm awake!!! OK, maybe not, better stumble off to bed. Gnite.
Well, that sucked. The gun range was a tiny little place, with only a few guns to choose from. There was as much recoil on my rifle as an airgun. Plus, despite agreeing on a price beforehand, the management of the place tried to cheat me, and said I had shot two to three times the number of rounds I actually had. I refused to pay more than a certain amount, but even that amount was more than I should have been paying.
AND I got shouted at by a traffic guard as I was riding my bike down there. Apparently I was riding on a street that bans bicycles . I was moving along quite quickly, and he actually stepped out into the lane right in front of me to get me to stop -- fortunately my brakes work well, and I didn't hit him.
Not too impressed with Shanghai right now

Being envious. Biscuits and gravy are the bomb. Especially with a couple of eggs, over easy, slapped over the whole mess.

The catering truck here has that every morning...I try to avoid it and get a breakfast bagel sandwich and an OJ instead....but will succumb and indulge from time to time.
