Foo - Whatcha doin'?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

JSC can wait. He's had the jeans for a month now and since he hasn't been riding much lately, he probably doesn't fit in them anymore. :p

You could just roll up the cuffs and look like some 1950's teenager.
My new jeans are straight-leg. I usually go for the flares because they make me look a little less short and stubby. However this time I ventured out. Due to this venturing though, I have to cuff them at the bottom - not too obnoxiously though. Most places that make jeans now make them for girls in lengths long, regular, and short. Even though I am short, the short length makes me feel even more short and stubby b/c it cut's off at the bottom but it seems weird. So I get regular length and cuff. I am now a 50's teenager. I'm so cool and retro.
Haha as long as his jeans got fixed before I left he'd be fine. He knows my secret love for sewing haha.
Free booze and plane??!? Sweet.
Wait.
I have to finish college part one first haha.
Well, come on over then! :) Oh wait... it's probably cheaper to just get someone out here to do it. :( That, and PRF (some girl I know), once she found out about you visiting just to hem my jeans, probably would never talk to me again. Last I saw her, she wouldn't entertain any relationship together in large part because the next weekend, PRG, PRG's sister, and a friend of PRG's (who I used to kind of like... operative phrases being "used to" and "kind of") were visiting me. I had no interest in any of them, but PRF wasn't convinced. They simply wanted a place to stay the night before making a day trip to Mexico and someone to take a day to go with them.
As for grad school, grad school is pretty cool. You only study your favorite subject, and in many cases, you get paid to go to school. :) And yes, our program flies out prospective students and wines and dines them. Anything to get the best students to come to our institute.
Just got back from a pretty good evening. Went swimming with a friend and a few girls, hung out for a while, then watched The Ringer. No alcohol involved. Not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing.
Oh... back on topic, I'm almost done with work for the night. :)

No alcohol = here w/ us. You shoulda got some behavior modifiers specifically blended for lowering inhibitions (alcohol). Then you wouldn't be here w/ us. ;)

Y'know a thought just occurred to me. RVA could swap pants w/ jsc. Or jsc could mail the pants to RVA along w/ a bottle of jsc's finest chemistry lab wine.
Done with work. :)
Bumming around a bit before heading off. There's no high speed internet connection at home, but there is at work.
Trying to decide what to do with the rest of the night...

How about changing your avatar to that 'fro that someone did to ya?
You know what you want to do...Hang out with the Foo crowd!
Sorry... no further pics of me (real or imaginary) for now. I may oblige Taerom's request for pics of the jeans after I get them hemmed, though. Though I'd rather wait until after my hair, shirt, and glasses have been dealt with.
That can be your new, updated avatar.

Dr. Frederick Frankenstein: You must be Igor.
[He pronounces it ee-gor]
Igor: No, it's pronounced "eye-gor."
Dr. Frederick Frankenstein: But they told me it was "ee-gor."
Igor: Well, they were wrong then, weren't they?

 :roflmao:
I think I'm going to go for a short drive. In high school, I used to drive up the lower portion of Mt Baldy for fun sometimes. Probably was a bad idea, seeing as I was a stupid teenage driver with questionable judgment. Many of my friends hit 100+ MPH going down Mt Baldy. (Not condoning it... we were stupid teenagers.) I chose to hit 100+ MPH going up. When on Mt Baldy by bike, whenever I hear a motor vehicle approaching, I get as far to the edge of the road as possible since I know what kinds of speeds some of them are hitting.
After college, I went for long drives sometimes on the weekends. Up to 4 hours long, just to end up right back at my apartment. Typically along some random scenic back road, covering a leisurely 100-200 miles. I haven't done that for a really long time. I haven't even done that for 30-40 miles for a really long time. The last time probably was back when I was more afraid of climbing hills in a bike and I was scouting out a potential 40 mile loop that I decided had too big a hill along the way.
Yeah, I think I'll go for a drive soon.

Watch out for random animals crossing the road w/o looking both ways first.
[e] Used to do the same thing in HS - college, except slower. and sometimes on a bike instead.
Well, I think I might try to go to bed. Hopefully the Monster that I drank tonight has fully worn off. Tomorrow I have to go to some stupid performace about African Acrobats for a class. *Yawns* Gonna be a good time to catch up on sleep.

Oh right... I recall those days. College was a lot of fun. :) That said, under the right circumstances, life after college is even better. Imagine being with your friends, having money to spend, and not having homework or exams to worry about.
