Foo - Whatcha doin'?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. lol when do you sleep?
Evidently, RVAbatman doesn't sleep.
As for me, I'm preparing for bed now.

haha i sleep. just not tonight. muahahaha. gniight jsc
g'night, RVAbatman.
Bedtime's slowly coming up. The fact that I'm finding myself daydreaming about a friend's wedding last summer that I attended as PRF's date (see post 705 (http://www.bikeforums.net/showthread.php?t=171385&page=29&pp=25)) means that I probably should head to bed sooner rather than later. (Daydreaming at this hour is never a good thing. Better to just go to sleep and dream instead.)
My green laser has a problemo:cry:http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y251/viperfx10/Laser0.jpg
Peoples license plates will still light up light christmas when shown on:)
My green laser has a problemo:cry:
If it's just in the picture, it just means your camera's lens is generating the artifact. If you can see it in real life, your laser pointer's lens is less than perfect. That or there's some uneven reflection/refraction of light somewhere between the laser pointer and the wall. (You shining it through a window or something?)

My cousin has a green one, if your problem is the laser dimming and getting brighter somtiems then not so bright it will be the lense. Push it in, or hold it in. Also beware you will drain a battery within a very short about of time if you leave it on, so that will affect brightness aswell.

Oh...thats pretty retarted then. It's probalby a problem with the lense.
Okay, I'm ready for bed, so I'm going to sleep after this post. Hoping for pleasant dreams. :)

I'm having a little refrigerator pie(gotta love Alton Brown:D) and getting ready for a shower, then me Guinness! Yay!
Pfft! I fart in the general direction of your green beer. Guinness or nothing, dammit!:D
I knew I liked you, Karli-babe! :D

y'know RVA, if you apply to grad school where jsc works, they'll fly you out for free and booze you up to try and get you to go to his school. Then you can hem is pants and get your drink on.
don't forget: they also give you this mysterious, limited edition, gold plated, autographed-in-blood book, too!

Y'know, it almost made me sick seeing all the pitchers of green beer being handed out. Luckily, I had the Guinness to settle my stomach.:D I actually had 3(well 2 1/2). My initial limit was two, but a friend? of mine drank about half of my second, so I had to get another one! She gave me smooches, tho, so it's all good.;) Note to self: Self! When it's only 40°F out, take your cold weather gloves when you ride your motorcycle, okay?
I'm gonna go to bed so I can get up and ride later. I played Halo 2 with some friends after I got home...'til about 0430 or so. Then I had to eat some more refrigerator pie and oatmeal(for dessert, kinda). Then, of course, I had to check out BF.:)

That Dawg better look like it's been rollin' around in the mud during a mudslide...or else...
I don't know, jyo...I might be ridin' so fast that I rip a hole in the space/time continuum, thus(somehow) keeping my bike spotless.:D

RVAbatman, if you were anywhere near San Diego, I'd offer you my jeans to hem to help keep you amused. I bought my jeans four weeks ago and still haven't gotten them hemmed. Admittedly, two weeks were taken up by car issues and car shopping. And prospective grad student recruiting has kept me rather busy the last few weeks. But still... I should have gotten this done by now.
Don't forget that pesky work stuff, too! All that reacting to reactions and whatnot.;)

I'm getting ready to go out and enjoy the 41 degree weather!
Bumming around on a rainy Saturday morning before going to work. Just finished eating breakfast.

Got some work done at work. (What a concept!) Almost lunch time.

I'm totally owning Foo.
Lunch got delayed since another grad student got to a piece of equipment I need before I got to it. Oh well, that's okay... I'll enjoy a late but long lunch break later.

That's cuz all us foo'ers were out riding our bikes and being awesome.
Finally... lunch time. Not sure where I'm eating, but wherever it is, I'm driving there.

I wish I could ride outside, but it's wicka cold, and I have not any base layers.

It's about 25 degrees lower than last week, but the sun's out and it ain't raining so there's no way I could stay inside. It's funny cuz this time last year, it was "too cold" to ride. Now I think it's almost perfect weather. Almost, but too much wind at the wrong times.

in case any one was wondering - i'm about to make late lunch slash early dinner for myself. im going with spaghetti and meatballs. it'll be delightful.
also, i finally got my eyebrows waxed today after over a month of not getting it done (for shame).
i had to struggle to open my car door today because of the wind.
all for now :)
Sitting on my A$$ in bed dreaming of my ride this afternoon!

AND meatballs! Don't forget the meatballs. As for waxing eyebrows, that sounds painful. Don't they got that thread thingie to pluck your eyebrows?
absolutely

Now I'm hungry. And I just got back from lunch.
Well, now that I know you make good spaghetti and meatballs, it's totally worth flying you out just to get the jeans hemmed and to get some spaghetti cooked.

haha yes i'm a major tomboy but the secret most people don't know is how immensely traditionally girly i can be.
the waxing is a lot easier than the thread thingy. i got that done on my last trip to nyc and it took longer and it was just a punch of constant short sharp pains on my face whereas the waxing does it in like 5/6 swipes n then its cleaned up with a tweezer. its delightful lol. beauty is pain
By the way, RVA, what does RVA stand for? Richmond, VA? And what's your avatar? Looks like the logo for Apple Computers on top, some sort of mask in the middle, and a pedestal on the bottom.

rva = richmond, va
the avatar is the apple logo mixed with the punisher
Ah, okay. Cool.
Back on topic... wrapping up work. Hopefully going home soon.

Just got back from Target (not WalMart!), where we bought a Dyson vacuum cleaner. Wow, this thing really sucks! Can't get the wife to stop...

I hope you mean that in a good way!
Oh, right... what I'm doing...
Finished with my work for the day, including my consulting work. But still at the office for a little longer. I figure that since there's high speed internet access here, I might as well deal with some financial stuff (reinvesting recent divident payments in a manner that helps rebalance my portfolio) before taking off.
Okay, packing up and heading home. Then probably taking a nap. I'll probably see some of you guys online later.

I'm trying to decide whether or not to post any post-ride pics. I left the camera in the car, and it's, like, 30 feet away. Jeez, I don't know if I can make it.;) Anyway, I'm gonna shower first.

Wow... you've been doing lots of riding recently!
I'm home now, snacking a bit before napping. I think I'll try to ride a hilly metric tomorrow. If I don't feel up to it when the serious climbing starts, I could always do a less hilly half century instead.
And the plans for significant mileage tomorrow means I get to eat a bunch of spaghetti later tonight.
