Foo - Whatcha doin'?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
Cool... if you're ever looking for a job in Boston, let me know.
 Yes, Lex, CompuGlish does seem to bear a bit of resemblance to English, doesn't it? "the level 5 raid array was reconstructed using the hot spare" only uses words commmonly found in the English language, and yet aside from "the" "was" and "using", the meaning would totally escape one who only speaks English.
CompuGlish, huh? Since you're the smartest person I know, I won't feel stupid for not understanding. I also never really got the hang of Pig Latin. ;) Darn it, now I only have an hour left to find something else to feel stupid about. *sigh* So much to do. :D
So we're raiding the barbarians tonight to get a spare tire so we can get off of the island?
What does Tex win for breaking the code?
No, silly... we're headed to the 5th floor to get forensic evidence about that raid (it already happened last week! too late to get that tire now), bringing along the really gorgeous extra staff member who hadn't previously been assigned any tasks. Duh! :D

Oh, well I guess that sounds just as fun. :p though I do prefer the idea of raiding a barbarian camp more :p
We can raid the barbarian camp next week. They should have a new spare tire by then.

Can we raid a different kind of camp. I'm not interested in barbarians with spare tires.
(I may just maybe need to go home. :D )

Apparently, another use for BF includes networking. Not the computer type.
Crud. I understood every word you wrote. If I ever get divorced, I will never find another woman. :p

I really need to get acquainted with my new pillow. No, not like that!
Yeah, right. I wouldn't want to be your downstairs neighbor. All that creaking would drive me nuts. :p

Heh. There is a funny story about the couple that live right above me that happened on like the first or 2nd night I moved into my new apartment here in Houston.

The story according to DataJunkie
No I can't tell the story because I don't know how to umm. Well let's just say I'd be a tad frank :p
Crud. I understood every word you wrote. If I ever get divorced, I will never find another woman. :p
Don't tell me that! :o I'm still single, and I understood every word, too. I guess my geekiness will ensure my staying single.
Well... there was the time a girl told me she had a longstanding crush on me ever since I explained to her (five years earlier one random night in the dining hall) that I refused to use fluorescent lights in my dorm room because it was affecting the color calibration on my computer monitor. She studied political science (and then became a corporate lawyer), so it's not as if she had a clue what I was talking about. So I guess there's some hope for me.

Maybe she is the type that was turned on by geek talk :p

There's always your wife. :D

It's possible that she wasn't listening. Maybe she liked the soothing calm of your voice going on and on. :D

Oh, she was most definitely listening. After all, five years later, she was the one who reminded me about that conversation. I had long since forgotten about it since in my mind, it was just another random technical ramble to a friend over dinner. I know you think that she (PRF) and I are already married, but no, that's not the case.
TG, we're still waiting for your story.

I'm teasing, of course (uh-huh....they'll tell you someday. :D ). Did you have nice dinner with your parents? (That was scheduled for Easter, right?).

Yes! Look here (http://www.bikeforums.net/showthread.php?t=188732). I'm about half-way through with describing the meal course by course, so there's still more to come.

I can't tell if that's a hipster white belt or just some reversible white/dark leather weave belt. So Karldar, whatchu gonna do when you finally got the place to yourself? Shag rug and velvet paintings of nekkid women?

If you look at the groovers/notches/whatever on the side you will see its a common belt commonly worn by females/women. Not the wide white kind though.

No, no. Carpet's coming out. Too much potential for trapping dust and stuff. The velvet paintings don't sound half bad, tho.;) Maybe I'll get some lava lamps and black lights, too.
I'm envisioning home renovation and falling asleep at the keyboard....

My new apartment has red adobe concrete floors everywhere except the bedroom which has this nanoying carpet that they didnt bother to put any padding (linoleum?) beneath it. Thankfully I finaly got myself an exercising mat so this no longer matters.

Dyed concrete is very nice. Yes, I know, but this reminded me of that. :D
You need the painting with the dogs playing poker, Karldar.....a bachelor pad classic. :D

The local IGA can't afford computers anyway.
This is a good place for me. Here I was trying to decide if I wanted to head over to Subway for lunch, I check here and the hunger flies away on underwear related posts. This could be better than Jenny Craig. :D
