Foo - Whatcha doin'?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

I'm also hungry!!! Someone feed me! :p
That Greek salad sounds pretty good. Hold the feta, please! :)
It is really a greek salad without feta? I think not. Moderation, moderation, :)

Nope, you're right it isn't. But I love everything else in it...the tomatoes, cucs, kalamata olives...mmmm. :) I actually really love the way feta tates...I just don't think my body likes it very much. :)

Awww VV. Is that the track? There's always next year? or season?

Pilates machines??? Isn't the machine for a pilates workout one's own body? Just what exactly are you doing, there Dauphin?? ;)

Nice. Was the food good?
Delicious. :)
Had a dinner plate full of fried mushrooms as an appetizer, followed by a house salad, a 7oz filet mignon, medium-rare, Aussie chips (seasoned fries), and a Red Oak draught with a water chaser. Dinner really hit the spot, though I think I scared the waitress with my appetite. :p
Of course, I've discovered I'm not a "cheap date," so I may not be taking myself out again anytime soon.
Having a cup of coffee here at home now.

I don't even know what pilates "reformers" are. Might help explain why I'm in the shape I'm in.

So, you bit the bullet and went to Outback. Just think of it as a TT, VV. You came through with flying colors. And remember, you deserve a nice treat once in awhile. :)

Thanks, jjboy. :) It did feel good to actually enjoy the meal and not keep catching my breath. I look forward to eating out more often, especially with the nice weather now. I'll be able to eat outside, and it's much easier to strike up conversations with other solo diners when dining al fresco. :)
You going to see any stages of the TdG in April?
Aside: I just made my 500th non-Foo post. :D

I am hoping to make one or more stages of the ToG. Ofcourse, Friday's stage ending at Brasstown Bald is the penultimate stage because it ends in a great climb. The VIP tickets are already sold out. But I would rather be "on the hill" with the other grunts anyway. Brasstown Bald is 1 1/2 hours north of Atlanta. :D
Congratulations on your 500th post. I remember the day when the foo post counted.

Brasstown Bald? I thought it was supposed to end in Centennial Park? Or did it get rerouted to raise more sponsorship money?
I just got back from the aids thingy. We made frito pie=D

No Fridays stage ends at Brasstown Bald. Sunday is Centennial Park. Howver, Sunday's race is a circuit race and most of the GC lays back as the sprinter try to kill each other.

I've been fighting a cold this week. I'm going to see if an extra steamy hot shower helps in the effort.

Try a Neti pot, VV. Irrigate the sinuses two or three times a day with saline solution as recommended with instructions for the pot. This helps me, and, in fact, when I do it at first sign of a cold, seems to either keep me from getting sick, or greatly mitigates the symptoms. :)
Sorry you feel so lousy. Would give ya a hug, but, you know. <backin' away>

That was good. I barely bothered with soap. I think I raised my body temperature a degree or two. :)
Thanks, VegaVixen. I don't feel all that bad. I've just had an itchy-feeling throat, a dry cough, a little sniffling, and been at about 85% strength. It's an annoyance that's lingered on since Saturday.

Hmm, never tried a Neti pot before. I typically haven't found liquids in my nose to be a pleasant experience.
