Well, I'm back from grabbing a drink and a snack (crab cakes) at a local bar that I frequent. It was hilarious watching these two girls claiming it was their birthday (26 and 27 years old) trying to convince the guy next to me to either find another seat or join them to celebrate. They even repeatedly offered to buy him a shot. He seemed not the least bit interested, even though the girls were pretty cute.

Anyway, they get bored of dealing with him and try to get my attention. Well, with nothing better to do, I hung out with them for a while and shared my crab cakes with them, and when they ordered their next round of shots, I made sure it ended up on my tab. It's the friendly thing to do. Another friend of theirs eventually comes along complaining that it's late and she needs to work early the next morning, so they end up taking off.

Was it really their birthday? I don't know, and I don't really care. It was amusing either way.

Right now I'm still kicking myself in the bum and wondering why I went to work. I was told to come in by the General manager (I'm the dayshift foreman) so I did. Lets see. I got three Hrs. of sleep and got up at 7 am, showered , went to work, and there was nothing.
Umm yea, how rewarding that was :mad:

I guess it's my fault. I should have called in last night to see how the job was going :o

But still :mad:.... I should be rebuilding my RB-1, in the living room where it's warm :D

Watching the news after the Olypmics and tryng to finish my final project in Human Resources Management. Yipee!

I am also glancing at my road bike attached to the trainer in my living room. Since it got to a high of 8F today I had to lash it to the trainer. It feels trapped and is wining to be removed so it can go outside. It just doesn't understand how cold it is outside.

You would be surprised how popular 7/11 is around here. Even when I've gone at 3 in the morning there are 3-4 cars parked with people getting snacks inside. I will admit its fast and convenient though. Plus slurpees are like my favorite, I've had 2 of em today. Guess thats what I get for being able to drive 3 blocks down the street too a 7/11.

Well, if I can touch someone's life...BTW, it's all SBW's fault. She brought up ice cream and made me crave it to the point of having to go out at 1 am in 16 F weather to get some.

I hate people to pay to go too a gym. Why pay to jog when you can jog and see scenery or better yet go mtbing. ack For some reason the only ice cream I ever really love was the pink bubble gum flavor. I allways spit out the gum pieces but the pink ice cream was so yum yum.
