so what's the new deal with you? you sleep all funny hours now?
Good morning everyone :D
I decided to crash this morning at around 3:30am after studying for 6+ hours for my test this morning. I'm running on 2.5 hours of sleep. woot. :p VV, I think I made you and everyone one here in Foo proud. I totally rocked that test. It feels like its going to be a great day. In about three hours I'm going to lunch with my Italian professor so, I'm looking forward to that. On my route to school, I ran into a fellow fixed gear rider but, when I did I on my free-wheel side. When I saw I said to myself, "Come on, don't be nervous to ride on the fixed side. Try it on for size." So, as soon as I got to my office I flipped the wheel and rode it the way it was meant to be ridden. Don't get me wrong, I've ridden it as a track bike before but I quickly changed it back to the free-wheel. Now, I don't think I'm going to change it back. :) Once you go fixed, you don't go back.
Have a good one guys.
Ciao.
Another one saved from the Dark Side of the Force and the Free Wheeling Sith Lords!!!:D
Congrats on the test and get some sleep!
I have faith in your sneaking ability Dr.Pete. Do it for all of us here in FOO! You gotta have priorities man, and misplaced ones at that!
Very well. If I must... I promise to dedicate the consumption of at least one drink with an umbrella in it to Foo. :D

not too bad, it's about 50, you must have gone on your bike to work allready.
was yesterday windy enough for you?
Too windy! Because of the lower gear, I think I pedalled twice as far as normal.

I wish I could go back in time 12 hours and remind myself that I really, really, really, really, really dislike being hungover at work.
Gonna be a long day.
I thought you quit drinking....or do I have you mixed up with someone else????

Putting the finishing touches on my presentations for a conference that I'm leaving for this Sunday, after a hard race on Saturday. I never thought I'd say it, but I'm not really looking forward to a 3-day trip to Honolulu. I knew I should've held back on submitting stuff... now I have to be there for enough sessions that it'll be hard to sneak out and enjoy the beach. :(
I know what you mean. Once there, Honolulu is pretty good, but the trip out is a killer.

Yeah, that's me. I haven't been too successful.
I'm beginning to realise that I'm just going to have to stop doing things where drinking is common until I'm used to not drinking. Lastnight was kickball night.

Try to drink a lot of water. It'll speed up the sobering process.

Yeah. Took my vitamins this morning and had eggs for breakfast and have been rehydrating all morning. Almost back to normal now except for the annoying low blood sugar hunger that can only be cured by hot, hot, wonderful, spicey Thai food.

I dunno. If I'm dancing, it usually means that I'm drunk and on my way to being even more drunk.

No. But maybe with a little enticing, Bikingshearer might play hookie. Offer him a Diet Coke. I think that's his favorite. :) How about Dauphin?
CycleMagic

I've not asked Dauphin.....you seem to know who lives out there that would be willing to ride. want to send out a PM to them? please???

Hiya, ever'body! :)
Rainin' like crazy here. :( Looks like this is the stuff that was in the mountains yesterday. <castin' eye toward BikeWNC>
Wondering where Happy Hour will be this evening, and hoping the rain will end by then. Just not as fun sittin' inside the bar. :o
'Pup, if you figure out how to fix that hangover, pass the solution. I was sittin' up into the wee hours emailing with a friend of mine in France who was already at work on her Friday, and I had jes' a wee bit too much CatDaddy along the way. :( But my French was pretty good. ;)
apply more catdaddy to the affected area. the hangover should disappear.

I don't care if the bartender is Republican or Democrat, Cat Daddy and Jack Daniels run on the peoples ticket.

I was just informed I'm heading off for Houston next Monday. Will be there all week in our office down there for training and for getting a project wrapped up. Hooray.
Anyone know of any kickass restaurants that I can't get anywhere else?
Oh, and any good parks where I can go running?
I'll be staying close to the Astrodome.
my wife's company has a Houston office. I will ask her. In fact she may be there next week. Either there or Austin I think.

I'm playing golf with my dad, and his cousin who might bring his friend too tomorrow. I went to the driving range earlier. Its been at least a year since I played 18. Probably won't be spending much time in the fairway.
