For grandma: the book The Last Samurai. I have no idea if she's read it, she's read a lot, so i hope it works out. For my mom: flowers (okay, so I'm not wrapping those) and chocolate. For the aunts: small, small boxes of artisan chocolate. I just discovered this great chocolate company in town tha makes cute, various-flavored chocolates, so that's what I got.

It's pretty awesome, I have to wrap it so I don't eat it...some of them are chocolate with chili powder in the mix. You can't taste the chili outright, there's just this very very subtle little kick in your throat after you swallow. they're great.

Heh, Has anybody seen the Music Video for Savin Me by Nickelback. I like the way everybody's days are typed on the top of their heads and counts down as the time goes by. Its nice the way the old lady on the stretcher is counting down the seconds and then she closes her eyes. And the way when he first gets the power and sits on the benchand tries to touch the girl's head.
That would be so cool if you could see the number of dadys everybody had left.

Hi, everybody. Wish I were in such as good a mood as you are. I just returned from an appointment with my eye doctor to check the pressure levels on my eyes (relating to glaucoma). The levels are great concern as to how well I can see and whether I may be able to participate in a couple of bicycling events in the near future. The results were high, one of the last things I want! With the advice and prescriptions he gave me, I hope things settle down in a short time. This is another one of those times when living with disabilities really gets to me to the point I hate it, how living with them is no picnic, and I wonder what might happen. I hate it!!!

I sympathize with you. I'd certainly be handling it worse than it seems you are. I hope the eye doctor can get things under control for you.
