Guess I need to change my rear tire. Threads are appearing. :rolleyes:
I originally had this tire on the front wheel and rotated it to the back. If my memory is correct, I've got at least 5,000-6,000 miles on it, so I suppose it's time. <sigh>
By the way, these Michelin Carbons have been great--no road flats in over a year!

I figure the more people I have to ride with the more options there will be to ride and the more fun I will have on the rides. This forum is just a vehicle to get that done.

The next one is June 21 then July 12. $15 entry. It starts in Marshall north of Asheville and is a 12 mile total out and back along the French Broad River. Pretty flat with some minor rollers. The out leg is upstream and the in leg is downstream. Very low traffic I'm told.

Thanks for the link. When I was lookin' back in March/April there was virtually nothing. Maybe I'll try that one in July. But those women are wicked fast! It's one thing to average 22mph on a NASCAR track. Another entirely to do same on the road! My current road average has not yet hit 18mph. And the slowest woman at that last TT averaged better than 20mph! :eek: EGAD. Still, it could be fun. And, I am a Cat 4 already.... I'll definitely do this series next year, insofar as it doesn't conflict with my local TT dates. And assuming I can get off work in time to go. Too bad there are only four TT's in that series. :(
So, six miles upstream (that is, slightly uphill), and six miles back downstream (that is, slightly downhill). Sounds sweet. :)

Yeah, I know how it goes. If possible, I'd like to hook up for some sort of mountain ride even if we can't assemble much of a group. :rolleyes:

dude this sucks....julie (my wife) is grocery shopping...and Hannah (my baby girl) will not take her nap...we are in the process of letting her cry it out a little....
it's so rough...i am going crazy...she's crying...she just gets sooooo tired and won't go down....

Dang, this morning I weighed in at 190, after I rehydrated myself from yesterday. Took me a month to get to there. I couldn't help but eat a cheeseburger. :( For some reason I tend to feel I earned the right to eat some really bad food when I exersize.
Now I gotta get back out there and exersize for 3 hours tomorrow to burn back of the cheesburger. Once my sunburns fade a little bit more of course. They are still just as red as that picture I posted from last night.

Yeah Yuengling's good stuff! Newcastle, Sam, and Blue Moon are good too, though. The music tonight is hardcore and thrash. Just a little sumpn' to keep the neighbors happy. :p oh, and have a couple on me- :beer: :beer:

We just went to my friends house. He's going to South Korea on his mission.
We all freaked out, and went crazy. I'm so happy for him, and I'm so happy he has to learn that language. I wanted him to go somewhere arab, but currently most arab countries aren't allowing christian missionaries in.
I'm also really sad, not going to lie. He's leaving, that sucks.
But our other friend, well I advised him to buy a leader mtb frame for a little over a hundred, he was literally about to place the order then and there, but he decided to wait till he gets his mission call. We're planning to go to the grand tetons in idaho and MOAB in a month. :D
