I've g athered it's some sort of race that involves bikes (at some point :p) and i think it has checkpoints where you have to do stuff like asking trivia questions or downing a shot of lentil soup.

I was a total newbie when I did my first alleykitten. When I do my next, I'll still be a total newb! ;) It's fun anyways if you don't put pressure on yourself to win.

You should race, regardless of your newb status. I wish there were alleycats here I could get my ass kicked in.

I don't think I'm comfortable enough to race in it. I'd rather observe first, then decide if its something I want to get into. Sounds like fun, anyway! :)

Only about a month and haven't even been able to ride it much AT ALL because my cranks were bad. We ordered new ones, and they never came. So finally ordered new ones again today and hopefully they will be here soon. I am seriously going stir crazy just having it sit there! ARRRRGHHH!

LOL There won't be too much to observe once the bikes leave the starting line. They'll be busy riding from checkpoint to checkpoint. You'll have to chase them down or hang out at a checkpoint to take pics.
