Take your bike, ride to some other joint like 7/11 or the circle K and get the salt and vinegar chips, B&J and cheese dip. Then ride the 20 mile route home and pig out.

peregrine, no I never did try that with the ice cream. I'd like to though :D
Once when I was a little kid my pop got so sick of me eating all the damn Ice Cream. He took me to Bob's Hambergers and he paid for me to eat all of it that I wanted.
Guess who got sick of it first :D
I love half and half cones. Chocolate on one side and vanilla on the other Mmmm

I guess so. I don't sleep well at night. It usually takes me till about 2-3am to get to sleep on weekdays.
Kinda sucks too, cause I have to get up at 7am to shower and make my way to work.

No. I'm not a big guy. In fact I was underweight when I was growing up. I think it was because of all the biking I did. I lived in a hilly area and rode my BMX bike all day long. Then I would race on the weekends.
I graduated at 18yrs, 5'11, and weighing 135.
I didn't put on any weight till I stopped biking. Lifting weights didn't even help till I was 21. Then I bulked up  to a lean 165.

I wish I had your problem :P
Anyway, it seems that you don't have to be big to eat a lot. A few weeks ago I came upon a hamburger(?I think)-eating contest on TV. It was both men a women and the winner was this small, absolutely skinny asian woman. Go figure. It was really funny to watch the stunned expression on this HUGE guy's face who was one of the contestants. like WTF?? :D

I don't have that problem today. I pay for it. But I can always work it off in some way.
I believe the current world record holder in the hot dog eating contest is a little Asian dude.
Everyone is like??? That can't be him???

Pfft! If it were a weekday, I'd be at work right now. I've been trying to keep the same schedule on the weekends so I don't feel like poo when I go in on Sunday nights. I guess I'll be up for a few more hours, at least.:)

Ayup! Still doing laundry, by the way. Almost done, tho. Just waitin' on the dryer. I just changed the sheets on the bed, too. Not sure what else I want to do right now. I'd like to go to bed, but I'm fighting it. Oh, the feel of clean sheets, tho...that's good stuff!

getting ready to go to church, you should to.
Sitting here listening to Bob the Builder play in the background, because my daughter has no concept of sleeping in on the weekend. As I stare out the window to the beautiful sunny day, I have to remind myself that its about 30 degrees out there. But I'm still gonna ride at some point to day...damnit!

You know what sucks. When you just dried your comforter, or blanket...and its bed time..and you want to get under your nice still warm blanket, and then.......damn! a wet spot! UGH! Back in the dryer with you!
Just killing some time before my plans for the day really start. I have a "date" (no, nothing too romantic) with a good friend of mine from high school. I'll pick her up around noon to go to lunch, then go clothing shopping for the afternoon, then probably have dinner.
I had promised some people that I would get a pair of jeans (at the minimum) after completing a century last month. I'll be making good on the promise today. I provide the body the jeans must look good on, and my friend provides good fashion sense. Sounds simple enough. Except she lives near my parents' house, 115 miles away. And we'll probably go shopping in downtown LA for the superior selection out there, which is 40 miles away from where she lives.

Wow. 155 miles for a pair of jeans. Sounds to me like it's really the girl you're shopping for! ;) :D
155 miles for a pair of jeans.
That 155 miles is one way! I'll end up driving over 300 miles today.
Sounds to me like it's really the girl you're shopping for! ;) :D
Umm, no comment. :) Okay, I'll comment. Shopping involves choices. What alternative choices do I have today? (Well, okay... her sister might be home, too.) Without choices, it's not shopping.
oo I wonder if this "date" would escalade into something:P

EJ123, sorry to disappoint, but I don't really see "tennis shoes girl" (as she's come to be known from previous discussions about her in Foo) and me having a future together. She's a bit, umm, "strange" at times. But great fun to hang out with.

Yeah, I doubt it. Some women only notice what they get, not what you had to go through to get it. I say this after playing devil's advocate for all my friends boyfriends/husbands. And most of these women aren't high maintenance. But who knows, maybe JSChen will be lucky.

Ugh....Rugrats....the niece was a fan. What an annoying show. I'm pretty sure that show does not play over here though some pre-teen version is shown on a station we don't watch.

Just got back from church.
I'm fixing some left over pizza and then heading out to the trails to get in some riding. Even though it's only 19F outside I can't stand sitting in the house anymore. Gotta get some fresh air on the bike.
I've been watching music videos on yahoo for about 2 hours now...it's a very good way to waste an afternoon!
I'm reading this book.....
http://www.shotsmag.co.uk/reviews1004/skinnydip.jpg
I'm more than halfway through but, if it holds up, will recommend it to anyone with an afternoon who likes quirky humor.
Man pitches wife overboard. Woman is saved by clinging to an errant bale of drugs. She, lacking any faith in the justice system, decides to torment him with the help of the former cop who pulled her off of the drug bale before she hit mainland Florida. The would-be murderer has his own problems though....and they include a cop who can see through him like plate glass.
Good read so far.

Just got back from the ride. My big toes are thawing at this moment and they hurt something fierce. I got a little bit of frost bite a do believe. It got up to 24F for the high today. It felt nice in the woods, but my feet took the brunt of the cold. At least the streams were frozen over.

Now hooooooold a minute, pal!! Some of us aren't like that. I for one, am the type that likes the really thought out type of things instead of material things. I never really had a lot of "things" growing up and I don't expect them now. If I want something, I work hard and buy it myself. That's why when someone here was asking what to get their girlfriend, I responded with the answer of a walk in the park and a poem to tell her how important she is. What she would GET is his time, his feelings, his thoughts about her.
Oops, I just noticed you said "some women". He he. My bad :o
