Good morning guys. I hope everyone is doing well. I'm actually a little sore. I think X and I might have ridden close to 15 miles so I'm a little sore. It was a rather pleasant ride for it began at sunset.

Coding here too- at least I'm working at home so I can have some modicum of peace. I'm doing mostly Python scripts to manipulate a pile of protein data. What're you working on Mal?

I was working on some php stuff for my team's website. It is some of the ugliest code I've ever written :(

Just got back from a fantastic mtb ride! It was absolutely gorgeous out there! And I finally figured out how to bunny hop over things. And went over some jumps :D I am normally a big pansy and will take the easiest possible route, it was fun to do some challenging stuff and survive it today :D

Hey Foo,

Wow, busy day for me! I’ve got some kinda virus mess on my work puter that makes IE slowwww and causes pop-ups. I’ve used Ad-aware and cleaned off a bunch of stuff, but somethings still not exactly right. Netscape is running well and I don’t have the same problems with it. Our IT people came and looked at it, but didn’t do anything but Ad-aware. I bet I’m gonna have to have the dang thing re-imaged next week:(

Oh man, it’s hot here and not just outside. I’ve got sweat tricking down the center of my back (and elsewhere) here in the office. Talk about a sweatshop! I can’t wait to get outa here this afternoon and get somewhere cool.

Whew! Back from the bank, and a quick run to the sto'. Happened to talk with the wine guy. They have disco'ed one of the pinot noirs I pick up for a friend of mine. I bought the last bottle. :(

Another teaser. I fell and a sharp rock stuck into my hand. Bleeding so bad and puffed out so much they wanted to take me to the emergency room for stitches. I said- I ain't payin' for no stitches, put on a bandaid. :p



Taken the night after it sealed up some and was cleaned up. About an inch wide cut at first.

I had gauze on the cut lady, the duct tape was to hold it on.

Right now I'm trying to complete some on-line training but the program seems to be hosed up. Such a pain.

I had to do sexual harassment training on the computer for my company. I somehow managed to put it off for over a year. When I finally did it, I missed one question. The question was badly phrased, and gave an example of some guy's behaviour, and then it asked, "Is this offensive?" to which I responded, "No." After all, I see much worse working in a very male-dominated industry, and my skin is pretty thick. Plus, it was a subjective question. Guess what? I should have been offended. :eek:

I went for a hilly ride around town, then rode on my trails for a little while until I ran out of water. Came back, showered, and got dinner at subway. When I was showering, my left foot cramped up really bad. Still feels a little sore. I would eat a banana to get some potassium, but I'm all out. <sad face> Drinking a gatorade, maybe that will help.
