Good Day, BikeForums Nation.
Today is quiet for me. I'm not doing any training as I'm catching up on ADL activities such as paying bills, cleaning, laundry and other things that are a yawn to talk about but need doing everry once in a while.
Good news, I don't hurt, my muscles don't ache, and I'm better prepared for the trek now that my training trip is done. Furthermore 666 doesn't affect me!

My feet hurt. Just sayin'.
My feet hurt. Just sayin'.
My quads are toast from a fast 20-miler on Sunday, and a hilly 67-miler on Monday.
...tomorrow, a rainy 30-miler on my favorite path along Wissahickon Creek - pretty flat, lovely, and perfect for tired legs. :)

At work today I was lifting my arms to tie my hair back and a guy at work (Daniel) said "Hey Brian, look at the guns on Siu!!" Brian looked and laughed. I asked Daniel what he meant by guns (I was insulted - I don't know what "guns" are) and he and Brian both said that I have arms like a guy.
I don't want arms like a guy. :(

Because you don't like them, or because you don't think guys like them?
I was once into this girl (who ended up moving to Brooklyn...sigh) who was a glassblower. She went to art school with my sis. Work with pounds of glass on the end of a long pole for hours, and you get VERY strong arms...which she had. I watched her do a demonstration at a college, and some of the guys made comments about her arms (not bad comments, but "wow")...I friggin' loved them, myself. I stayed at her house that night, and made sure she knew how sexy her work made her. :)

As much of a tomboy that I am, I don't think that a lady (and yes, I am trying to be one) should have "guns"....

Do guys often make comments about your arms, or was this a random thing because you had your hands behind your head? It seems like you were surprised by the comment (i.e. don't hear it much).

I was surprised that he shouted over across the warehouse to Brian. Kind of put me on the spot. I was told that before by women and some young guys that I have big arms but never the word "guns". I feel like I'm fat. The word "yoked/yolked?" was used.....

I doubt that women would say it to you if you didn't look good. Don't let the body-image nazis get to you, there's a lot of different kinds of "lady", and I'm sure that you're one of them... at least judging by the reactions you get here. You're very popular with the guys!

I got a flat on the way into school, so I spent the first 10 minutes of first period applying pressure to a patch.
I hate potholes.
Good morning!
Eating Kasha 7-grain cereal and getting ready for a rainy trail ride along the lovely Wissahickon. :) I'll have to miss the first match of the Frenchie, but it's Nadal I want to see later...hoping he looks strong enough to make it past Federer in the Semifinals.

Good morning foosters! :D My day is going well, despite having the drivers side door on my truck fall apart when I got out at work today!!  The hinge mechanism flew apart when I opened the door in the parking garage and the door was stuck wide open and wouldn't close. I had to use a tire iron to push everything back in, so i could close the door and go to work. KARLDAR..is that where you got the hinges for your old fridge?! You took them off my chevy pickup!:p I knew I should have bought another Toyota!! Little by little everything is falling apart on this truck. But, I won't let that get me down.... life is good even if the weather isn't!:p :D
Goodmorning FOOSTERS!! Glad today is HUMP day. :) Saw the movie Omen lastnight. It was good. I didn't think it was all FREAKY like some. I would say its a birth control deterrent for me though.:D
I'm at work and....I'm still at work....and I'm....*sigh* I NEED TO GO HOME! Starbucks at the very least. I have to go out and sell the program later so maybe I'll do that.
Don't feel bad about your "guns" Siu. I'd love to have "guns."

I saw the trailer for it. Seemd kinf of interesting but I got the impression that it would be a tad violent beyond my limited tastes for action films. Maybe I'll go see that tomorrow night or friday night. God knows i need a freaking break.

Clearly not big enough in Tex's opinion but here's the real question - do you have room to read?
