Foo - Whatcha doin'?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Waiting for it to get cooler here, i cannot go outside unless i get into the car. I want to go fly my RC plane, but can't because of the heat that has an affect on me. And not to mention how lazy i am, i am laying on my bed and posting on Foo.

Packing for my MS ride tomorrow :) Going to miss my little puppies though! Need to make sure I remember my camera and spare batteries though, I want to get some pictures! Picked up a couple of these (http://www.carbboom.com/products/cb_products.php)as a change of pace from Hammer gel, wonder how they'll taste...
Good luck in your race Taerom, 25 miles isn't that far! Even for a mtb race :) Just go out and have some fun!
Heh. A good ride, like good sex, is a great cure for a hangover.

Sorry. It just amused me to no end to see these back to back.

Come on! Not another headache. What a way to start the weekend. :(
Bought some stuff for the grocery cart - now has a wooden base, bungie net, blinkies. Got some groceries, but unfortunately they didn't have the bushel baskets of tomatoes, so we'll have to go looking again tomorrow morning.

wait.... you're not da boss? :p
I just let him think he's da boss. Good for his ego. :fight:
VV was right, a tough ride is a good cure for hangovers. Da boss was not nice to me though. We basically did a 1 hour TT and at one point I think I had the Jan Ulrich ugly face thing happening. At least I didn't hurl.
After showering we went out for a fish fry and some good WI microbrew. Calms the savage beast everytime.

They're not.
Hmmm. Dodge must have sent one out for the Dream Cruise then. Original Challengers are out in large numbers too. The Dream Cruise is awesome. A 7 mile long classic car exhibit. It officialy starts tomorrow, but they are definitely out tonight.
CZ52's are fun! Just don't dry fire them, they have a design issue that makes them prone to breaking firing pins if you dry fire them.
Yep, I know about the weak pins, so I'm gonna order a machined steel one. They say it helps the bad trigger, which I'll probably also have worked over. I've also heard they have bad grip screws, so I'll have to order some new ones. Plus a new recoil spring, never hurts on a 53 or so year old gun.
By the way, do you or Andronicus or anybody else have any opinions as to whether the best mags are the new production or the surplus? I'm gonna order some if I can get some advice on which are best.
I'm going drinking tonight with three librarians.
Stop judging me.

Wait, really? Dude, be careful. Librarians are pretty safe by themselves, or maybe small groups of two. But three together? You'll be lucky to wake up with all of your organs.

More than likely
I'm about to finish off a VERY tasty bottle of Oregon Pinot Noir. Maybe I'll take the last of it to the deck and enjoy the sunset. I rode among the vineyards this morning, the fruit seems plentiful, it's shaping up to be a fine year for Pinot grapes. So far this week I have logged 210 miles on the bike, and plans are for another 65 tomorrow, into the mountains this time.

That's what I overindulged in last night. It was too good for my own good.
Have a great ride tomorrow!
raining here Shifty, no riding today, though trainer may be ridden shortly. Just finished a precociously fresh Bud Light longneck in the Lazyboy while watching preseason NFL.

Thanks Pammy, we are starting out at this lake, then climbing to the top of the mountains in the background.

Me? Your mom? Egad. No. But, umm, be sure to chew your food 30 times (with mouth closed, natch) before swallowing, wear clean underwear, sit up straight, keep your elbows off the table, and speak only when spoken to. :p
