Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

rawr!!!!!
I'm sorry that this happened to you, Blondie. As strange as it sounds, some very stupid people find doing horrible things like that funny. I wouldn't take it too personally but definitely report the person and try not to let it get you down. There are idiots everywhere and this happens to a lot of people. Just know that most of the people you meet on this site and others are good and friendly people who would rather cut off their whole hand than torture people seriously or as a joke. Stay strong, Blondie.
I just happened to remember something and will also PM you.

Hello, Bikeforums Nation.
Today it is pouring rain outside in a deluge. I'm beginning to wonder if that storm is just for me.
I returned from the eye doctor's office after he checked my eyes as to what progress had been made since I last saw him about the pressure on my eyes Glaucoma creates. What I learned was that it was up and things are worse than they were before.
He prescribed another type of eyedrop for the nexxt few days to see if that would do the trick. If it doesn't work, the next option is surgery. I felt terrible when I learned the pressure was worse, another thing to disturb my life. Nor do I like the option of surgery, because I will have to remain awake and experience the process. The only hope I have is that the drops he just prescribed will reduce the pressure and eliminate the need for surgery. If surgery is necessary, it will be done by my eye doctor's hands, and he is the best there is in Maine.
I wish my entry could be more upbeat. I guess I sit here with a lot of feelings and emothions about what is happening. The Glaucoma didn't affect me while I was training in the mountains of MDI during the day but would raise its ugly head at night. My eye doctor hasn't discouraged me from doing the Trek. It's that once more my life is interupted and I am faced with limited options to deal with it. Either I take the best options given to me. If I don't, I will lose my remaining eyesight and it will be Trail's End for Powerhouse.
The pouring rain continues.
While my eye doctor and I hope that the drops eliminate the need for eye surgery, the odds of it working seem to be slim at best. As I sit here typing this entry, it now hurts each time I blink, something that I doubt drops can help.
While I may have to undergo eye surgery, my eye doctor hasn't advised me to give up bicycling or not do the Trek. He's aware of the numerous mountains I've climbed (figuratively and literally) and is willing to postpone any surgery until after the Trek is over...if he can. During the trek, I will be attached to a group of hospital employees from Maine General Medical Center, one of whom will act as guide to point out anything I might not notice and also be there if something goes terribly wrong.
Furthermore, I don't give up so easily.

My eye doctor and I hope that the new drops he gave me will eliminate the need for eye surgery.
However, it seems that the odds of that happening are slim at best. As I type this entry, it's starting to hurt each time I blink, something the drops doesn't seem to relieve. :(
Yet my eye doctor hasn't discouraged me from bicycling or from the Trek. Not only is he aware of the mountains I've climbed (figuratively and literaly) and the incredible odds I've overcome, but he is willing to postpone any surgery until after I've completed the Trek...If he can. I have another appointment with him tomorrow to determine if the drops has actually done any good. After bicycling for almost 30 years, I won't give up easily.

OK Now I see the posts are going through.. Thank you all for your support. It means a lot.. I allready spend too much of my time and yours wasted on such miserable insignificant person. I can only do in life as best as I can and weather I succeed or fail should only be judge by me as I always try my best.. being bullied is not the best feeling but letting them bully you is ever worst, I let him when I let him upset me like this. Im over this, Im stronger then this... Thanks again for the support.. :)
Sorry to hear things aren't looking up, powerhouse. :( If there's ever anything I can do to help, please don't hesitate to ask.
Blonddualathon, if you would like to PM me you can...

Ah just ignore that troll. In fact, ignore all trolls. If the guy has to stalk complete strangers on the internet to get his jollies then he must be such an incredible loser that he probably gets beaten up on a regular basis for being such a pathetic, cowardly, butt-faced, no personality having troll.

I know, this AM coverage has pissed me off during the French Open. I mean, if they were showing major sports at prime time rather than Open replays, that would be ok, but paintball championships? Poker?!?!
They better put some of that sh*t on prime time...especially US and England!

I'm changing my sig, trying to decide whether to ride my motorcycle into town or take the car. I don't want to take the car, but I'm not sure a printer(in the box) would fit on my MC. I guess I'll ride the Honda and pick up the printer later. Too nice to be cooped up in a car today...especially one as crappy as mine.;)

I dated a girl briefly recently who did belly dancing btw....I used to go to places like the goodwill store with her and look for shinny, cool, clilky jewelry to wear when she danced.:) That's a very cool skill to have (belly dancing)...props to you on that.;) Sounds like a fun time to me.
My new bike /TT setup is supposedly in. I have to make it over to pickup before they close though.

That sounds fun. Back in the university days, one of my classes did a field trip to a belly dancing show. It was very cool.

1-1 Germany vs. Costa Rica. We got a game now!
[e1] 2-1 Germany. Costa Rica got no D and take took to long to setup on offense.
[e2] 3-1 Germany. Costa Rica's defense sucks.
