Working. Imagine that. :rolleyes:

Last night, after work, I went for dinner and a beer at the local pub that I frequent. Was sitting at the bar near where the wait staff picks up the drinks to take to the tables. As typical, the ones who know me really well made sure to say hi and see how I'm doing. (I'm a loyal and picky customer. Two bartenders and two waitresses get most of my business. I had my choice of all four of them last night. Sat at one of the bartenders' section since I could see the basketball game from there.) Since I wasn't going back to work afterward, stayed around for a second beer. A somewhat typical visit, until...

When it came time to pay, the bartender told me that one of the waitresses that I know well--and who's moving to Maine next week--already paid for me. How kind of her.

Just got back from renewing my MC registration. Sucks! Well, at least it's cheaper than a car....

I'm just cooling down now. It's a bit hot today. So glad I mowed the yard already this week. Now I just need a nap.:)

This is one of the reasons why recording technology was invented. :)

My VCR is broken, and I can't afford to replace it now. Besides, it's the idea that watching people play cards is more popular than tennis that bothers me. :fight:

The only thing that makes watching the same thing over and over and over is probably
a) beer and wings ( i know nothing but people seem to do this alot so I imagine it must be connected)
b) being with people that keep it entertaining/explain what's going on.

I think the last time I saw something funny happen in sports is like when what's his name did the jig at the end of the zone whenever he got a touchdown. It's not funny anymore sine everybody tries to copy cat it.

It's supposed to be a "classics of the 80's, 90's and today" station. I'd prefer to listen to a talk station but I haven't been able to listen to that one in a while.

I just got done installing my new printer(another HP, ha! Take that, TG!) and now I need to motivate myself to pick up my Cannondale from the shop. Bleh! I'd rather be out riding that picking a bike up, but I might just find time to stop by the BMW motorcycle dealer while I'm there.:D I hope I don't come back with two bikes.:eek: :lol:

Go pick up that Cannondale already! :D As for the BMW, be careful... if their 2-wheelers are anywhere near as addictive as their 4-wheelers, you may well end up bringing back two bikes.

Just a relaxed but long (for a Saturday) workday here. Didn't come in until after the Trinedad & Tobago vs Sweden game. (Woohoo! Go T & T! What a game. :) ) But I have instrument time at 6 PM (running until 9 AM Monday), so I probably won't be out of here until about 7.

How 'bout some spaghetti with some broiled salmon and tender asparagus? And perhaps some peppers thrown in for color. Maybe add a can of clams, too. Tasty, with minimal effort in preparation.
