Holy dang.
I was sitting in the car in the parking lot talking on the phone. Holy bejeebus. I hear **** you *****. I turn around. Some beheemoth black chick is getting all up in this skinny girl's grill. I was like, oh snap, I really don't want to have to stop a cat fight. That's like willingly getting sucked into a black hole. If I have a choice, I choose nothankyoumam. I hang up the phone, and watch for a sec. The skinny wimmin litterally throws her shopping cart into the other chicks car. The boyfriend is there and trying to stop her. I couldn't tell or not but it looked like the bigger chick clocked the skinny girl, and she hit pavement instantly. Right then I started getting out of my car, I screemed I was going to call the cops. 2 seconds later, it literally ended. I thought it was funny though, how come the person who get's defeated always turns around and talks smack as they walk away? Meh.
Edit: I accidently posted this in the labor day thread. I'm so blond. :o
Just another night in the 'hood.

Mornin', everyone! :)
Well, I blew off the larger breakfast I had promised myself last night, when I went to bed a little hungry, in favor of my usual Cheerios and coffee.
I'll probably have another snack in the next little bit, or else I will surely bonk on my ride today.

Well, it's only a 22-mile ride, so I should, in principle, be sufficiently nourished beforehand. It's just that today is my day to ride it fast, and to push my legs beyond what they want to do. So, I'll eat a little more before I go ride. Then eat again afterward.
Now, when to ride? <pensive Vega look> Guess I should have a look-see at the ol' Doppler radar. <lookin' in bookmarks>

I'm really really going to bed now. And yes, the chocolate was probably a bad idea...
Bonk if you love bejesus.
I'm biking downtown to NOT have coffee. I'm NOT drinking coffee, see, so do not assume that I will drink coffee on a lazy Sunday morning over the paper at a NOT COFFEE shop. Ain't gonna happen.

having a peach , thinking about todays' ride. A 50 miler. Up in the hill country , passing thru vineyards. You can almost begin to smell the almost ripe grapes. Fall in almost in the air. The ride was under 80 degrees. Great scenery, great ride. Polished it off afterwards with some red wine and cheese with couple club members. The ride was special and the peach is great. Maybe a little nap time after the shower.

back from my very windy ride. i can't believe how good i felt today after staying up till 12:30am discussing spam & eggs and the correct spelling of ya'll/y'all, and having a few too many drinks.
i think i attacked every hill we came across this morning and even did really well on the one we call "the wall" around here. cross a bridge over the neuse river then it's up, like 11-14% grade (well, i'm guessing here as when i looked at garmin as climbing, that's what i was seeing, haven't downloaded my data yet) and the last time i rode the wall, i was extremely, extremely slow. i put that bad boy in it's place!
yes!!!:) i do feel good. now, i gots to go find me some lunch (after i post a few pics in the wimmen's thread:)).

http://i216.photobucket.com/albums/cc20/NeCrO632/DSC02251.jpg
This is what Ball and I had..well..mostly..um..entirely I had..Ball didn't have a mouth to eat with...
http://i216.photobucket.com/albums/cc20/NeCrO632/DSC02252.jpg
Then got back to her place in the City and I put on my new clipless pedals!
http://i216.photobucket.com/albums/cc20/NeCrO632/DSC02253.jpg
I'm gonna change and go out for a ride with Ball..
Let the falling begin!
Geezabalist. I'm having trouble sleeping alot lately, my mind is like racing and won't shut down, thinking about no thing in particular. Just thinking.
I layed there for probably 3 hours last night before falling asleep.
I think it's time to go stock up on dyphenhydramine hydrochloride, aka benadryl.
Anyone else having this problem? Uggg.

Somebody please tell me what is up with most contractors!
These nut bags spent 10 hours in my kitchen yesterday, supposedly doing a "professional" job.
They did ok with putting in the cabinets. At least they look ok so far. The crown molding looks like a reeses monkey with a hacksaw put it in. Then the crowning acheivement...I had the contractor install the knobs and handles in the hopes everything would look right. Well, apparently this contractor can't drill two holes so they are level. Literally, the holes are 3 inches apart (handle width) and on one drawer, they are about 2 inches apart verically. I mean WTF! Does he really think I'm paying 20k for a kitchen that looks like monkeys made it?
Oh and the Jasco paint remover I used. I put it on at 7, came back at 9 and it still wasn't dry. I have a feeling I should have shaken and not stirred.

It's not supposed to dry. It's a gel. Rinse it off.
It's supposed to blister, in some spots it did, others not.
Didn't seem to take off any finish though.
Siu Blue Wind
09-02-07, 09:58 AM
Go rinse it and the re apply in the spots missed. Duh.
