Foo - Whatcha doin'?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
No, she's not on Bike Forums. At least not as far as I know.:) There. Feel better now my friend. ha ha:p

Oh, Cycle........you know we're in it for the gossip. You're just like one of the girls. So.........what does she look like? How old is she? What does she do? And most important of all: What kind of bike does she have?
Is she on BikeForums???? *giggle*

Honestly..I'd love to meet a 28 to 48 year old women who has similar views and interests to mine AND is a cyclist.:D MT Biker or Roadie. But that seems to be a tall order to find around where I live. I'm happy being single, but I'd like, not need someone to share things and be in a real relationship with.:) :o
So.....the harmless gossip is she is a 47 year old brunette who works out regularly and looks much younger than her age. She used to be in corporate sales, but now is semi-retired. I have no idea what brand or model of bike she owns yet. Other than its a MT/Hybrid type bikefrom her description. She read my myspace profile and sent me an e-mail about some of my interests and the blogs I wrote. We've talked, I invited her down to visit and she's accepted. Now we just need to find a weekend that works. There's not much more to tell than that.:)

Where's the 'This Thread is Useless without Pictures' thingy when you need it?
btw, Tex. I have bad news. I lost our brain. I may have to backorder a new one. Don't worry - two to three year shipping time at the least.

O.K. just so we're clear....I don't fish for women. :) Where would you recommend I hang out online with an opportunity to meet women who cycle? Bike forums right. :) I also did a trial membership to cyclingsingles.com, but the site turned out to be pretty lame...even though it was featured on Good Morning America or something. Bascially, I enjoy chatting with other cyclists and consider more than a few people here friends. That's the main reason I joined BF. If I ever met someone through here...that would be very neat, but it's not why I'm here.:)
:D :D

Ok so what you are telling us is that it's her that's easy....oh I get it.
So you want to meet someone with that description who rides bikes. I guess none of the women here fit your requirements. Maybe because we won't just go on a whim to spend the night over a guy's house that we met on MYSPACE. Hmmmm. Yep, you're in the wrong forum.
Shame shame. I'm disappointed in you. And you were such a cutie. *shakes head for you in shame* :p
 This thread is too funny today.
cycle17, we are messing with you since nothing more interesting is going on in any of our lives.
Just took a short off-site lunch break. Primarily to get my chain replaced since it seemed to be about time, but it measured to be just fine, so no chain replacement yet. Made an appointment for an eye exam tomorrow, so new glasses will come soon. Still need to get those jeans hemmed, though. Oh, and earrings for the oldest of my sisters should ship soon. If things go well, hopefully, I'll have them in time to give them to her this weekend. That would be nice since I'll actually see her in person, which is a slightly rare situation since we're 500-odd miles apart usually. Otherwise, I'll have to ship them to her.

Whooah Whoooah Whooah! Hold the phone here people! I think too much is being read into this.
Sui I think you may be getting the wrong idea here. I hope your just busting on me. But my feelings are that it may be too difficult to set things completely straight now.:( I am setting up a date with someone I like, we have talked and seem to hit it off. If she does visit I have offered to let her stay at my house, since I invited her down from out of state. I have no pre-conceived notions or expectations. If we hit it off..good. If not that's O.K. too. Some of my replies have been the friendly funny banter that is so common here in FOO and some have been more serious. Don't go thinking I'm some player/womanizer. Nothing could be further from the truth there. :)

But Siu. What's wrong with My Space? It's like totally the place to hook up for you know um like fun and stuff.
Totally not connected, two local DJ's posed as a 16 year old girl (I guess you have to be 18 to have a public profile - never been there - but they put 16 on the page) and got the CREEPIEST e-mails from middle aged men....not that this relates at all - just thought it was creepy.

Yes. You are supposed to be 18 to post a profile there. I ended up there by accident(friend sent me a link to download an indie artists music and I created an account.) next day..somebody emails me...so I said what the heck?! It's not all that great, but I have had a few good dates from there.

ok good morning! :) ( just did this in the wromg thread) hope everyone is back to the regular foo stuff and left the hormones behind this morning..:p
Hey Blondie - I think the hormones are probably all at school or cleaning their bathrooms. :D
I'm about to head out to try to sell this bike commuting program to businesses. Right now I'm gearing up with Diet Coke with Lime and some BF viewing. Looks like everyone had a pretty post productive night.

Just got out of my first final.
It was history, and I think i did pretty good. I dont think I A'ced it to be honest with you, but I think I did a good job.
Now Im just farting around, icing my neck (fricken kinks!) and contemplating a ride...
Whoo hoo on finishing your first final!
Have you heard of biofreeze? It's sold in chiropractors offices and is freaking miracle balm. I use it all the time for headaches and kinks in the neck and it works really well.

Comtemplating taking the devil bike out for another run. Maybe on a rougher part of the trail. Then I could get it over with, put myself in the hospital and have a real excuse to get my Santa Cruz Moots.

Or just get rid of the full squishy and just get a moots?
I like that plan...;)
Thanks, and yes I have heard of bio-freeze and I do have intention of getting it at some time, but my chiropractor just said ice works well.

Picked up the yard after Alberto. Started beef stew in slow cooker. Feeling loggy and tired, haven't been able to ride in awhile.
