Foo - Whatcha doin'?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
Man my new hot pink bandanna and rainbow love bandanna are awesome. I'm so gunna set a new style. Watch, everyone in cali will be wearin' a hot pink bandanna soon, because I have that kind of influence on the common man, and woman. Watch, you'll see.

I have some "Whatcha doin'?" to catch up on, and so haven't read all that came before my post. I'm just checkin' in 'cause, while some things in my life are being resolved, others are possibly goin' to hell.... :o
*sigh*
"Life is like a box of chocolates...." Or so I guess. I'm at once happy, and very sad. For different reasons.... :(
I'll read through the "Whatcha doin?" thread more carefully tomorrow, as well as other Foo threads since I last posted. Just can't at this moment. I don't have the emotional fortitude....
G'night, Foo! I loves me you all! :)
VV = It's sounds like we're having the same kind of day so I'll send some warm thoughts your way...
Right now I am cursing myself for being so unfaithful to my beloved Bridgette who I abandoned a week ago so that I could go riding around with this new girl who's name I don't even know.
I picked Bridgette up tonight and realized that she is my one true love and I'll be making sure not to neglect her again... mind you...being a bicycle I don't think she has any feelings and if she did I'm guessing that she was happy not to have my bony butt riding her all freaking day, and night.

You'll just be yet another tragic fashion vicitm trying desperately to fit in with the crowd. "But I was wearing pink bandanas long before it was cool to do so," you cry. Sure you were, dude, sure you were.

I thought it was named after Amy, big as she was into the whole spouse collection thing.
Also, the entire 11th edition of Britannica is online? Sweet.

I figure that if I ever find a real girl, the bikes won't mind and unlike the bikes (of which I have many), there can only be one girl for this guy.

You've got to be careful about asking questions like that around me - I generally drown people in answers. :o

Just fling 'em into the river, eh?
Preferably with a weight of some sort. Wouldn't want to go through all that effort just to have them swim away.
^^^
Or get up and wade away as would be true here in Georgia.

You know the drug dealers and gang bangers are actually having to plan on what to do with the bodies.
It's getting to be desperate times I tell ya.

I just realized something extraordinarily cool about California....here I can leave a bag of chips open for days and they are still crunchy...back in Georgia...after a couple of hours they were soggy...I do NOT miss humidity..

I hope everyone sleeps well and has wonderful dreams... I have to get some beauty sleep as there can never be enough of that.
Tomorrow I start working 12 + hrs / day til the end of the week... my visits here might be curtailed a little but that won't mean that I won't be thinking (kindly) of you all.
Cheers!

Morning Foo!
I'm the first one in here today? WTH is going on?
As usual...I'm sipping a cup of java this mornng...but this morning's cup is the large. I can not get moving this morning for some reason.
I'm totally enjoying my sundried tomato bagel and rich cup of coffee. Did NOT want to get out of bed this morning - damp overcast day out, ahhhhhhh so nice for a personal kinda da .... STOP THAT!
:(
So anyway, I'm getting ready to plug myself in as the chatty cathy's are working the front desk and it never stops.
Saliva - here I come ...
Oh yeah :D but most importantly - my 2 retroactive raises came thru on this week's paycheck and, HUZZAH!!!, Tude needs some new bike parts!!!!!!!

hmmm...I need an intern. A hot, sexy intern w/ a stack of take out menus.
by hot and sexy, do you mean a 42 year old caucasian male, about 6', 250 lb. in business casual attire? I have menus for most of the take out places in Lake Dallas pinned to the cork board by my desk.

You're going about this the wrong way. You need to figure our how to make your parents move. Tell them you found toxic waste buried in the backyard and a native burial ground in the petunia bed. That oughtta do it.

Hi guys...
Well after spending 2hrs at my regular doctor because I missed the appt yesterday (thought it was today), I come away from that one with an x-ray'd right index finger - Dx is arthritis. :(
Then I went to my knee doctor, waited an hour for him to discuss the MRI....my knee looks ok. All ligaments/tendons are ok. Meniscus is ok, but could have a little fraying medial side and isn't as thick as it should be. Otherwise, those things look ok. There were striations on the femur/tibula (fibula, don't remember which one), which indicates arthritis in my knee. Lumbar MRI showed a bulging disc in the upper-lower back into an already congenitally small spinal column area. I also have a slipped disc in my lower back. :(. I'm too young for all this crap to be going on:(. Knee doctor made me an appt with a neurosurgon to discuss surgery for the bulging disc. I may keep the appt, just to see what he has to say, but I doubt very seriously that I'll have surgery to fix this. It really doesn't bother me. Don't fix it if it aint broke is my motto.
So....then saw my PT. He's against any surgery as it hasn't bothered me yet, and there's a 50/50 chance of making it worse...my knee problem is mainly due to hamstring tendonitis/pes anserine bursitis. Keep stretching, strengthen my VMO and I should be fine. Ride hard, but have some easy days as well.
Yea, my day was, sucky to say the least. Hugs???? :)
As usual, I'm a day late and a dollar short, but I'll offer a (((((Hug))))) anyway. :D

You found dead bodies in the yard and it appears the developer built the subdivision over sacred burial grounds, and instead of moving all the bodies, he just moved the headstones. Now weird things are starting to happen in and around the house?

Hey Z, it could be worse. Could be Dallas.
