Foo - Whatcha doin'?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Dauphin, I still think green tape would look sharp on there. Yay color! Bearing that, I also like your Darth Vadar idea.
Green never occurred to me because the old tape I'm removing was celeste on a Bianchi which is a different kind of green...I assume you meant something more like a Kelly green?

Yes, for sure a darker green. Nothing neon or pastel-y.

I actually get to run with my crazy physics prof in the race next weekend. :D He's very excited about the race, and talks about it during lecture.
running is so addictive, I used to get much more of a high from it then cycling.
Im going to miss it :(
but I have accomplished what I wanted, Boston marathon decent time.
Im getting out of duathlons too, it's that time, my knee has had it, Im letting go of running while I can still have good knees to bike :)
Bah, who needs knees anyways?? I'll run with peg-legs.

I wont use those anymore. they are in excellent condition. Ill send them to you for christmas present of you want. I know you've been having a tough time.
only if you want :)

I know what you mean. When I'm on my bike, I just like to relax and enjoy being outdoors. But when I'm running, I am very competitive. Races are so much fun!

As soon as I can get my daughter to grandma's I am going for a BRP ride. Just a nice Fall color ride up the mountain at a leisurely pace. I'll bring the camera along. Looks windy up there as the front pushes through. Awesome.

pppppffffpppppffffftttttt...Successful owners always work harder than their employees. They have far more to lose than just a job.
Nope, totally wrong. The goal is to handle only those things that a owner HAS to handle. One of the biggest questions that comes to us is: "So, if you die, what happens to the company?"
If you are the glue that keeps it all together, the company collapses. As an owner, you have to work ON the company, not for the company.
Okay, business lecture over. ;)

Oh, too many businesses that are called businesses are merely self-employed with helpers. There is a difference.

I love IBM customer support . <- that much. Obtuse, arrogant, and just plain stupid....I've been going back and forth for a week and a half over a CD-ROM that won't eject when the button is pressed.
....I have no clue what I need, but it's definately not IBM related right now.....maybe hops and malt related, but sure as heck not IBM related.
On the bright side.....IT'S TACO NIGHT!!!!!! :D

Back from my ride. Photo is here (http://www.bikeforums.net/showpost.php?p=5486785&postcount=403). More traffic this evening up there. Dang tourists! Still not bad really. 6.25 miles up 1900' ave. 5.8% grade but most of the climb was at 6.5-7%. Very cool on the way down.

Cheese dip to start out and big honking beef & bean burrito to finish it off.
Then tomorrow I'll try to ride up the Galibier again to burn it all off.

Whenever I get a chance to, but tomorrow I've got a painter showing up in the morning...probably won't get rid of him till close to 6:00 pm....wife's working all day tomorrow, so dinner is up to me, so get rid of painter and cook something quick...then after that's settled, I can ride.

Just give them what they want so they will go away, then call the police.
I need a spin class. *sigh* Just posting in the book forum - had no idea that was there. Today was beautiful with no chance to get out. The plumber was here all day working on the heating - and, no, that's not what the kids are calling it these days - the literal heating.

I'm a bit embarrassed to say that my NC trip has more planning in place at this point than the Second Annual Thanksgiving Saturday Apple Pie Ride that I got nominated to organize for SoCal BF. :o I really need to get that ride thread up soon...
What's this "planning" of which you speak?

Hey, no problem! I assume the relevant details would be the pie-in-the-pocket thing, right? Bring lots of it. With Vanilla Ice Cream, I think.

It's only 10:30 but I think it's bed time, late night out followed by an early morning makes for a sleepy Mali. And I need to get my new bike ready to ride and take 'er out for a spin tomorrow. Given the weather the last few days it's going to be a muddy ride, perfect way to break in a new MTB ;)
