What's a "wheetabix", some type of cereal? Whatever it is, you don't want to bulk up with whole milk. Try skim milk, all the benefits without the animal fat.

Except for that whole fat-soluble vitamin thing.

Well we call them wheatbix and if your going to have them use full fat milk only. There OK as far as proccessed cereal's go. You could probably have them as soon as you get home rather than waiting an hour. Its supposed to help muscle recovery to eat carbs and protein straight away.

Wow, wheetabix. When I went to England I got hooked on that stuff. It is really great for post recovery because of the great amount of complex carbs. However, the protein isn't very high so you should focus on getting a little protein either from the milk or something else. The widely accedpted theeory is 4-1 carbs to protein for a post-ride meal. The carbs to help replenish your depleted glycogen stores and the protein to help build damaged musle tissue. 4 however isn't very muych to do either of these, I would try getting 5 or maybe more, but then again I eat over 4,250 calories a day. :p

after a 50 mile ride, I once ate 36 Weetbix, after first eating a small bowl of vegies and 2 jam sandwiches. Beat that!! :p

there's the whole 'should we be eating grains' issue, but as far as weet biscuit cereals go, one good thing about them is that they're very filling relative to their energy content -- 10 Weetbix (not including the milk) is only ~500 calories.
