About 10 minutes ago I heard this squeaking from outside my bedroom window. I ignored it though, and then heard it again. It sounded like many sources.
The source is now known..............skunk.
Every year we have skunks that live underneath our porch, but in February?

I saw a moth the other day.
They think it's spring. It's feeling that way to me, now I'm adjusting to the warm weather. When winter comes back it's going to seem out of place. This is usually blizzard time for both of us.
I washed my mother's car today. Weird.

I went out riding the past two days (in MA!). What's up with that? I hope the mosquitoes think its spring, come out too early, and get killed off by a March cold snap...

Last weekend (saturday I think) was in the 50-60s and sunny. In Boston!, In January! oh, and birds were singing (it felt like mid to late spring).
Its been an extremely mild winter so far.

Hey phantomcow2,
Dunno' about New Hampshire, but here in Occupied Virginia, skunks are the first mammals to emerge from hibernation, usually by the end of January. Cool fellas, skunks. If you've ever been sprayed by one, you understand "chemical warfare". . .it'll bring up last Thursday's dinner.
we had nice mild weather... now it's cold and dry but there's almost no snow left on the ground. Yuch.... i hate it. The groundhog said early spring, though.
