Phil Wood BB with Sugino 75 cranks.
All good?

Yes! You will find conflicting information on this but Phil Wood tested Suginos with their JIS taper BBs and found them an excellent match. Go with the BRS08 for if you are running a 120 rear.

Excellent.
I was just wondering because of Phil's "oversized 17mm spindle."
75s recommand 109mm spindle, correct?
This is for my '04 Pista, fyi.

The world of bottom bracket sizing is fairly new to me.

Phil doesn't make a 109 spindle. On your Pista the BRS08 should be a perfect match and since Phil BB's are adjusteable side to side you can get a perfect chainling.

Not sure what the 17mm oversize spindle is.

Fantastic.
9 hours strapped to the back of my car is sub-20 degree weather, 5 hours of which saw them subject to a hellish rain/snow/ice storm and the subsequent salt killed my, and my friend's, bottom bracket.
Thank you Stupor Bowl.
