Touring - 27" folding tire - Is there such a thing?

Yesterday, I got a nice, older bike that I intend to use on longer rides (like 200k - 300k brevets). It has 27" wheels which have 1-1/4" tires on it. This is a nice set-up, but I'd prefer to carry a spare tire with me that doesn't stow awkwardly. I've checked a few places looking for this size in a folder, but have come up empty. Am I chasing a phantom that doesn't exist? Will I have to look for 700c rims if I want to be able to carry a folded spare?
Thanks in advance

The Panaracer Pasela TG (Tour Guard) is a great tire with Kevlar belt and is a folding tire. Comes in 27" and 700c.
Available at Nashbar (http://www.nashbar.com/profile.cfm?category=&subcategory=&brand=1196&sku=4286&storetype=&estoreid=&pagename=) .
I hope this helps.

Thanks! Price ain't bad either.
Kind of odd that this isn't found on the Performance site - where I did come of my initial checking.

A great tire. I rode my last pair for about 6500 miles and the threads in the bead tape started coming off all over the place. There was still plenty of tread left.
