Road Cycling - Trainer help please

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
A friend gave me a Blackburn magnetic trainer with remote cable control. I have no instruction manual. I think it is about 5 years old. I am trying to connect the mounting sleeve to the quick release side of the wheel, but it is to small to fit over the quick release.
Any advise would be appreciated. My bike is a 2002 Giant TCR2.

The ends of your skewer are too large to fit in the bits to put it on the trainer?? hmm.. no idea. I have a question though that is under this same topic... How easy is it to stay upright on rollers? Are they just as good as a fluid trainer? Differences? thanks..

Have no idea about Blackburn trainers. Have you searched
for a blackburn web site?

Do a search for Rollers here, there's plenty of discussions.
I have both, and Rollers are not all that difficult
to learn, but I believe take a while to master.
Check out Kreitler's web site for riding tips.

Good luck,

Have you looked for a smaller QR to use only when the bike is on the trainer?
