BMX - 14G Black Titanium spokes?

Does anyone here know of a company that makes black titanium spokes at all, or of any companys that might do so in the near future? Thanks.

It would be WAY to heavy!! If I am going to spend all thsi money on getting light spokes I would NEVER weigh it down with paint! I mean honestly now....

i looked into Ti spokes quite a bit once. not factoring in price, i think a lot of negativity towards them centered around it just simply not having ideal characteristics for a spoke. maybe it was something about stretching at the threads. i know it doesn't really make sense, i am not recalling it right. sorry i cannot be more specific...point is i just remember them not being that great.

edit: You're right, MX. Titanium has a lower modulus of elasticity than steel (I'll compare 6AL/4V titanium to 304 stainless steel, both of which Marwi use for spokes).

Well, seeing as how that's a multiple part question, I'll answer the questions separately.

Your first question, 'though disguised as a statement, questions whether or not I care about a one-legged puppy's life. However, that needs not even be asked, because I already stated that I do care about it; it's not explicit, but is rather implied. You see, in my eyes, putting a helpless animal down is akin to euthanasia; in doing so, you are ending the animal's pain. It's not so much a question of whether or not I care as it is one of ethics and morality, and my view on that matter is that it is far more compassionate to cease a life of pain and discomfort than it is to allow it to continue.

Your second question, about my mother, questions whether or not she cared about me, after stating that I'm just like her. I'll address the latter portion first: I am not just like my mother; I have six inches on her, a penis, and a beard, and that's just the tip of the iceberg. Also, you phrase your question as if my mother is gone, deceased, even. Well, you can rest assured that neither is true. My mother is alive and well, living at home with myself, my brother, and my sister. To address the former portion, it is a well known fact that my mother does, in fact, care about me. If she didn't, I would not be living in her home, and she would not being paying my college tuition, among other things.

Titanium spokes is definately a waste of money. The only difference they make is that they break easier.
