well, i hope this isnt a "selfish" post. i havent really been milling about on the T&N forums for a while, but i started my weightloss and such about the 3rd week in August when i bought my first road bike.
i started at about 238 lbs 5 ft 11
i never recorded my body fat at that time but about two months ago, it was at about 27 percent.
i wasnt really working out, eating better or doing anything different for the "numbers" i was just doing it to look better, feel better and just be a better athlete. ( im only seventeen and pretty athletic minus the extra weight ive been carrying).
today before my swim practice, yeah, my senior year i took up a sport id never done competively, i used the body fat scanner at the YMCA and im down to about 13.7 percent body fat. im down to about 198 lbs.
im getting kind of sick of this ohio weather though :(
swimming is over next week. time to get back on the trainer and hit the gym again.
i still want to lose about 25lbs and get more lean muscle on me. but, i just thought id share, cause i feel pretty good lately. haha thanks a million guys and gals.

Congratulations on the progress. It's nice to hear how cycling has brought about healthy changes.

A cyclist and swimmer . . . if you add runner it sounds like you might also have 'triathlete' as a title in your future.
