Does anybody have an email address for Cuevas, here in New York City? I am researching frame-building and would love to see if I can pick the brains of a local builder. Thanks.

Is Cuevas a new up and comer? Never seen his website. PS- That pic of that thing in your avatar is totally not cool. Drugs are just not cool man.
No, Cuevas is not new . http://www.classicrendezvous.com./USA/cuevas_cat-pics.htm
The shop is run by his grandson Fernando Cuevas. Francisco Cuevas Sr (RIP) been doing framebuilding since the late 40s approx time frame.
His younger son Andreas took over the shop til he was recently paralyzed. Francisco Jr helps out now ( awesome builder and mech), he taught me alot.
The family is a staple here in NYC/NJ area. They used to build Paris Sport frames for Mike Frayese in NJ.
Good family and friends!

Pretty cool. I looked around the net and I think Cuevas started building in like 1932. I couldn't get the Cuevas Junior Team page to open though. Got another link?
No other link but will see them after our storm is over. I will post it here or PM me next week .
1932 maybe correct, that is why I wrote approx time. I remember talking frames with him in the late 80s.

Thanks for the info Ceya. BTW, it's Matthew (with the 80's silver Somec from Kissena and Prospect races)...
I want to contact Cuevas and check out their shop. I met them at a crit race in Great Neck last year. Francisco gave me tips on how/why to shave my legs for racing. He seems like a great guy and dedicated velo afficionado!
