Simple question for those of you in Baltimore: what's the city like for daily riding?

Thanks!

I only commutted through the city for about a month, but it's great riding around. Very easy to find your way around as well.

What part of Baltimore? Downtown is crowded and the drivers can be mean (they'll actually speed up if they see you trying to get in their lane), but it's a reasonably civilized place and most of the drivers will have seen cycle commuters before. I grew up there rode on the streets for years with little but the usual harassment.

One piece of advice: if it's downtown you're thinking of riding in, make sure you know which are the one-way streets and which way they run.

Best of luck!

Sucks this weekend. That is for sure.

Otherwise, yes we have some drivers with mean streaks. Downtown gets crowded, but there are plenty of roads to choose from.

It is nothing like when I lived in Ann Arbor MI. But I am not afraid to ride downtown.

Now to be fair, I don't technically commute in Baltimore City. But I have ridden around town plenty.
