So which is it? Dark/bittersweet is my favorite, but I've been known to eat any and all kinds.:)
Coffee, bread and chocolate... all best when dark.
How can that white stuff even be called chocolate? Blech!

Yes! My Army of Darkness grows every larger! It has already doubled in size! Muahahahahahha! Soon we will rule the world and people who eat milk chocolate will be cast down into the chocolate dungeon of doom...and whatnot.

Well, technically, it's not. It's made with cocoa butter rather than the liquor(and butter). I still like it sometimes, tho.<--Oh, no! Now I'll be in the dungeon as well!
Man, I need some sleep! G'night, John Boy! G'night, Mary Ellen...ZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

I voted dark choc but my favourite is "raw chocolate" available here in Japan. Very very expensive but beautiful.
Steve.
I don't like dark chocolate that much, but will eat it if there's no milk chocolate around.

<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<< Dark fan...
I voted dark. I had some chocolate from the German exibit at EPCOT that was like 72% pure cocoa or something, and it was waaay to bitter for me. The only milk chocolate that I like is m&m's

I am on the border between don't like and white chocolate. 99.9% of the time I will walk away from chocolate, the smell can sometimes make me sick. But white chocolate tickles my fancy sometimes
I'm with TexasGuy. Where's the "all of the above" option?

White - bleah!
Dark - an offense to my delicate taste buds.
If it isn't sweet, and milky and creamy, what's the point in eating it?
Belgian Milk chocolate is the best. Hershey's Symphony bars are the best of the domestic stuff (with nuts and toffee please). :D

i find most North American Chocolate tastes horrible.
The english make some damm good chocolate (Cadbury, Galaxy etc.)
The swiss make really good stuff (my sister gets a package of swiss choc in the mail 3 times a year :D)
but the japanese have AMAZING chocolate!
i voted for all of the above, while most of the times i dont like white chocolate, i will still try it, and if it tastes pretty good, ill keep eating it.
I voted all of the above, but I hate white. Oops.

*while Karldar is busy laughing I steal his chocolate and pies*
But not American chocolate like Hershey's - it's awful - taste and texture. Give me European chocolate every time.

European chocolate can only be had rarely. Otherwise it loses all of its coolness and uniqueness and gets rather bleah

More like half a bag, only w/o the 'bugs' ;)

I'm inclined to agree that European chocolates taste better. However, there are plenty of good chocolatiers in the United States. For me, Fran's is a local one that comes to mind. Same goes for Seattle Chocolates. Also, let's not forget Ghirardelli.
On the other hand, Hershey's and Russell-Stover are to chocolates like Budweiser and Miller are to beer.

I have a genetic predisposition to chocolate causing panick attacks. And by the way, if anybody has a problem with panick attacks and you're doctor has no treatment for them, try quiting chocolate. Its very possible that it causes them.
