Hey guys... is it true that "they" are closing down the North Shore trail(s) up in Vancuver... the ones with the ladders, stunts, and tricks?

I heard from a couple of guys yesterday (ones that keep on top of the news) that they are.

What's goin on?

Any word!?

Thanks!

(cuz I'm planning a trip there next summer)

Unlikely. They may be closing down some of the underground (known but illegal) trails. They are pretty lenient there but some of the trails are known but not wanted. I can't see the whole shore shutting down. Will have to call some buds to find out.

Also they do have to close a lot of the trails for the winter. So your friends may be mixed up.

Hey I'm in!
We can hit up Whistler too.
We went last year in June.
The weather was horrible the whole time we were there.

I forgot about them. But seriously if in three days nothing has returned on any of the major freeride sites then I think your friends mixed up the facts.

Thank god!

Lets just hope they're staying open.

When you speak of 3 major Freeride sites ?

you speak of which ones?

I regualrly visit Pinkbike.com, NSMB.com, and Hcor.net

I can't seem to get registered at Ridemonkey.com ... the admin turned off registration for some reason..

Anyway...

Keep on ridin peep's!

Yep...Ride monkey is closed to the public.

NSMB is closed now. The admin got sick of the kids being ignorant.

Hcor is new but looking pretty good for hardcore riders.

Pinkbike is the alberta NSMB with the same kid problem nsmb had. :)
