Advocacy & Safety - Wrong way cyclists

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

How does a wrong-way cyclist make a right turn (or left turn, in Australia or the UK?)
I assume that by wrong-way, you mean that the cyclist is travelling the opposite direction on a one-way street. I personally never do this and shake my head in annoyance as other cyclists do this? What gives them the right to make traffic go out of the way while they break the traffic laws and go the wrong way. Its irresponsible and gives cyclists a bad name. Just go round like the rest of traffic is forced to.

The only time one should ever ride down a street the wrong way is if they are wearing a walkman, no helmet and perhaps have their eyes closed. Other than that, I wouldn't recommend it.
Are we looking for the right way to do something wrong?

I don't get the point of this poll.
Whenever I encounter a wrong way cyclist I slow down and try to get him/her to stop momentarily. Then I "quickly" explain to him/her that he/she is on the wrong side. If he/she doesn't listen and continues riding on the wrong side I pull out my rocket launcher and ..... :D
