put berrings, and spindle in, but the long arm thingys on, tighten the bolts, forget about the sprocket, try and ride, hear something wrong, go to bike shop, pay MEGA bucks to have them put it on properly.

Make sure you get things right buddy. Don't double post. If you don't get things right, post it in the same thread. Don't make a new thread because you messed up the first one; try to fix the first one..

If you just look at it, you can see how it goes togetehr pretty much. Pound in cups with a piece of wood, and a hammer, put on spacers, sprocket, arms, and grease it, tighten everything down, and hope it pedals.

i think you can google that, putting the cranks on is a pain for me, i can only take them apart, the one important thing to get is an L allen wrench/key...my old db and haro have different sizes.

Yeah, I've been repatriated. Maybe I need a new username. :D In the meantime, I'm only on once in a while. But don't think that you guys can get away with stuff you know is not allowed, there are plenty of other mods.

Need a channel lock, big cresent, skinny wrench to fit the adjusting nut. I think that that is 32 mm. Need some grease.

Buy a conversion spindle. Or a sealed set.

Directions for spindle-
Leave the cups on
transfer the parts, just like they are on the one-piece crank.
Adjust. You can get away with out the special skinny wrench, if you play with the lock rings. Make it a bit loose, then tighten. Try again, untill it is perfect. Got to have the lock washer (the one with the "key" tooth), between the adjusting and lock nuts.

for the sealed, you replace the cups with the sealed bearings.
