Making a dual boot. I've been a Fedora Core 4 user since around christmas, and I am being bothered. Theres just not enough stuff for it. Drivers are a pain in the rear for one. A lot of devices come with software that is only good for windows, i dont think I have a choice. Still, fedora will be my primary battle station

- i sense a weakening in the Force...
:-)
(on the other hand, i snarfed one of those Mad Dog USB 2.0 external drive shells from CompUSA for $24.99 last week, slapped in a spare HD, and backed up all my Linux boxen licketey-split - thanks to the usb-storage module!)

The force requires patience. You will not learn it without giving up your first child (at least several gf's)
Keep in mind not every flavour is for everyone. If you are looking for ease of use and some degree of portability, you might need to try a different *nix. Get your feet wet finding which one suits your mindset.
BTW I also run dual boot. For me *nix is great for network scanning etc...but regular use I need access to my exchange server etc. So I need windows 70% of the time :)

I know i will be patient and still use Linux, but still, I need to be able to do something in the mean time. Plus i want to run my Ti Connect software. I have a friend who's father works for Red Hat, this kid was born and raised off Linux. He says he STILL does not feel 100% confident with it
