here is a photo of our fire escape:
hmmm we prob got a good 6-9 inches. Its kind of annoying because its all powder and its pretty windy, so when I was snow blowing I had to blow it in the right direction or else it would just fly back in my face.
The happy side of this is that I made me 25$ :D

I'd say we got about a 10 to 12", tv said that areas around NJ and NY have gotten upwards of 24", but I guess I'm closer to the coast which means less then inland...
damn... it's 46 here... i musta gotten used to the cold.. i thought it was 60 O_O .... enjoy the snow!
Tough to tell here. It was a light snow and we've had some drifting. I'm guessing somewhere around 18 to 20 inches.

Anybody else get a ride today? I went around my neighborhood several times, on and off road. Since the snow is so light, its not been a problem.

Malden, MA got near 14 inches and we're still going. Hopefully, it's make it into the night so there may be a slim chance of no escuela manana.

24 i heard in central park. This is really a well deserved snow fall despite the missed riding. I think on the stron we got 18 or 19 r maybe even 20. Who knows. Its alot anyway you slice it. I doubt we will not have a delay tomorrow.
We got about 10-12. I went riding through snow banks on my mountain bike :D
damn, we didn't get any. . . . but it was windy as all hell yesterday
and today (gusts to 40mph).
Cruentes, that pick makes me a bit homesick for northern nj.
graduated Rutgers, family in Bloomfield, Montclair etc.
Sure don't look like that down here in texas!

I graduated from Rutgers also, Class of '86.
If you want to come back to Jersey, you'll need a lot of money. I live in a fairly crappy part of Bergen County, and the average house price is around $425K. A house in a decent town will go for $600K minimum.

Upstate NY, we got nothing. The sun was out most of the day. Cold, around 20 F for a high, but no snow at all.
Roughly 1mm.

Not to rub it in or anything, but it really was a great day for a ride out here on the west coast. Headed downtown, probably got about 30 miles total (no computer so estimating isn't very easy). Just kind of ranged all over, hopped a few curbs and steps and came back.
Snow? What's that? ;) Evidently, it's something that can be measured. :p Oh, and what's all that white stuff in the pictures? :o
Actually, I do kind of miss heavy snowstorms, and I certainly can do without 80+ degree heat waves in February. Man, it was hot today.
Newport, RI - about 10-12". Could be more... hard to tell with all the drifting.

that drifting killed me today. (Figuratively...)

Why couldnt Texas be hit with snow.
I went racing through the downtown San Antonio traffic. I think i found a new rush / cycling route for the weekends when traffic is slower :p

Same here. It's been a tad windy and I've not felt like going cycling at 7 / 8 in the morning. Last 2 days I've done a lap on my Henderson loop which is nice and winding and then headed into downtown san antonio and back. Goooooood riding
we got a bit of snow out there. enough to cancel school for tommorow. i wanted to go snowboarding soo bad on monday but my dad cant get off work :( 15 inches of fresh powder up at the mountain :( man i can cry right now

We got about 6 inches in the mountains of Virginia. Not quite enough to back country ski :( but we had a local pickup cyclocross race yesterday that was full of fun and crashes and overall hilarity.
My sister got 30 inches in Connecticut.

It was good, but ever see a movie that didn't live up to it's previews?. I liked it but the previews were almost better! it did get 7 stars I think, Harrisson Ford is so believable!
TexasGuy

heh. That didnt really seem like a good movie from most of the previews i saw of it. I like Harrison Ford though so you know that any movie that he is in probably is going to have at least decent/believable acting.
I think Central Park got 27" or something like that.

I feel your pain ...or pleaure. My area has gotten 23 feet so far this season. March and April are the snowiest months where I live. Fresh lines of powder fill my skiing cup until it overflows.
Shoveling, plowing, running the snowblower and raking the roof have gotten old.
