Well, today's ride (in NC) had to be in some of the most bizarre weather I've ridden in!! One of my daughters was home from college for the weekend and was heading back mid-afternoon. So, I did a quick 30+ mile ride so I could get back in time to see her off. No centuries today!!!
In less than a 2 hour period of time I rode through bright sunshine and calm blue skies, then wind gusts that went from zero to 20 mph for 5-10 miles and then went back to zero, a little bit of rain and then snow flurries so thick it covered the front of my riding jersey and tights. By the time I got back home the clouds were gone and the sun was shining brightly again. I'm not sure how to log the weather conditions in my cycling log for today!!!
I'm beginning to wonder if the Bermuda Triangle had shifted NW by several hundred miles........
(Off subject but yesterday the Board of Governors in NC voted to raise the tuition and fees by 20% next year for the college that both my daughters attend. It looks like the few pennies I've been using towards cycling are going to be redirected!!!)
