I have some ballscrews, 8 of them actually. These are selling on ebay, but i have a question.

Is it better to make 8 different listings, or one listing with quantity of 8? Or sell one at a time, in individual listings?

Basic business tennent: Supply & demand

I would NEVER do a Dutch Auction... one auction with a quantity of eight. If you have eight different ballscrews it would be ok in my opinion to list them all in one auction. If you have eight of the same, I'd spread them out.

Yes try selling them seperatley, but if you have no luck then try a combined deal or combined 'buy it nows'.

Oh and if your listing multiple items, dont list them all at the same time or anything, spread them out. Even so if you list them on 3 days listings, each 3 days you re-list one.

A three day listing is for the most part stupid. You're paying for seven days, man use them... it's all about exposure!

If your selling 5 of the same stuff, and you put them on for 7 days you will be waiting 5 weeks to sell them all. I have listed with 7 days and its not worth my time if I want to get rid of somthing, even 5 days out its still pages away from where lots of people view, 5 days I feel is enough, and since i never list 2 of the same products at the same time, 5 days would be too long to wait.

Thats just my opinion anyway. Large eBay sellers will do 3 day listings if they know there is enough poularity, if you dont think what you are going to be selling will attract lots of bids then yeh list it for a long time.

Another thing phantomcow, if you havn't already listed em how much do you think they would be worth sold seperatley? If its not really a huge amount, then i would recommend listing them toghether, since you can use the gallery and will only cost you 0.50AUD or whatever, if you list them seperatley you would be paying a gallery for each snigle listing, plus a listing fee, plus the final sale value. I would recommened a gallery and list them all together if you dont plan on selling them for heaps. Anyway i'll shutup now :o
