This site has been very educational and I wished I had found it earlier in my bike search. I am begining to get into tri's and hence need to purchase a bike but don't want to break the bank with my first steps into cycling.

I can purcahse the bike for $400 which includes shipping from Colorado to Georgia. I have been to several bike shops and know that it is the correct size and that I want an aluminum frame. Since I have little experience I am wondering whether I am getting a good deal. Below are the specs.

Thanks for the help!

Brand: Cannondale
Model: cad 3
Frame Material: Aluminum
Model Year: 2000
Frame Size: 61 cm
Shimano Ultegra front derailure
Shimano 600
Carbon fiber front forks
Vuelta Bassano seat

Since the $400 includes shipping I would say that the Cannondale is a pretty good deal. If you could post a picture of the bike and more details of the components, you might be able to get more feedback on how good the deal is.
