It's going out the bottom of the fork, around to the front Evolver brake. Shorter the better in this case.

What the hell is a Dia-Tech Flexie? And a regular Slic cable would be fine for that; you don't even need a Linear Slic.

I already have the Linears.

When I do barspins with my Animal Illegal Linear cable it twists up(obviously), and near the barrel adjuster the cable starts to pinch a bit. Would that thing ^^^ help keep my cable in better chape for barspins?

Whoa man, I tried to read that crap but it just made my head hurt. I'm with Beerman.

Basically, Sheepdog is well-known for making all kinds of unnecessary modifications; he's like the Anti-Christ, if G-Sport George French is, as many people believe him to be, Jesus incarnate. There's absolutely no need to use one of those things, or a v-brake noodle, for that application, whatsoever. Look at any pro rider with front brakes or a gyro; they don't have that goofy crap on their cables, because there's no need for it.

Don't get me wrong, I think Nokons are complete bull****, but I reckon they'd rock for front brakes.

Nokons are such a waste of cash; a Linear works just as good and actually stays stiff, instead of flopping around.

beerman - a few months ago I'd have agreed with you, but then I ran out of options whilst setting up some oldschool brakes on a mtb (suntour cantis with a power hanger) and Nokon was the only thing that would work. That stuff is only for ultra ****ty cable routing, and I think front Ubrakes fit that description. I'm not saying regular or linear cable wont work, just that Nokon might work better.

I was referring to rear brakes with a straight cable; for a front cable, it wouldn't be flopping around, would it? Either way, do you really need a Linear or Nokon for the front? The whole point of those is in BMX is to reduce cable binding when doing barspins and tailwhips; if it's in the front, the cable isn't going to be rotating at all, and will be fixed, thus allowing you to dial in the brakes once it's in place, and negating the usefulness of such a cable.

Beerman get's it - Nokon is only good for fixed cable routing, in fact that is the reason it was invented. Look at Codman Greenberg retractors, once the inner wire was pulled tight that **** was locked - that was the point of it, a flexible lockable arm that could hold a retractor in a certain position.

At least with me using linear cables, I wont have them slapping the crossbar. They'll stay put.
