Yeah, I'm a noob... i started a couple days ago... cant get off the bike... its so much fun... i was looking at it, its a Single X Redline which only comes with a back brake... does this pose as a problem for doing tricks on my front wheel? i dont know... i was just looking for some advice about it... maybe some beginning things that you pros think i should be aware of... thanks peoples

ok, its probably an 06 model, i noticed the newer trend is to not have front brakes, however at my local bike shop, most, even teh newer ones have both brakes. i personally prefer both brakes so i can freestyle (i try to do a little flatland) ...but most, if not all street riders take off the front brake...often times, they dont even use the gyro, which means they cant do bar spins.

I am not familiar with redline so thats all i can say.

They usually take off the gyro and just run a longer straight cable, still allowing them to barspin.

You don't even need a long cable to do barspins.

i keep my cable short and just keep my brakes loose so they dont lock up(i dont like how the long cable looks flopping around every where).
