General Cycling Discussion - Thank you to all veterans

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Being an early Vietnam era veteran (1962-1965), I appreciate your thanks, but, really, I, personally, did not do a thing to really promote our nations security, except being there. Spent my whole tour (3 years, 3 months) at Lowry Air Force Base in Denver - now that is REALLY tough duty!!

(Incidentally we did really top-secret (special clearance) work) If I told you I would have to kill you!!)
But, my real special thanks to those who DID fight - and especially those who gave their lives - in our (USA) nation's wars to protect and preserve democracy the world over
My deapest heart felt thanks to all veterans.
