Foo - So, all you single guys will be on BF tonight?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

I have bronchitis, so I'll be in bed.....but sleeping.
Bought the gf a Polar M32 HRM, but she'll probably not like it. There, this post is officially cycling-related.

I am married, but will be single if I spend more time with you guys and gals than I do my wife. She hates when I get on the computer and start surfing the BB here.

Although I will be hanging out here with some of you guys here tonight, it certainly wasn't cheaper for me as I already gave my wife some cash in the morning..... She prefers cash (shopping money) for all special occassions. Fine by me....:D

my gf feels the same way. She is not a fan of me and researching on the net/forums.
I am getting a new LeMond Etape and I wanted to pick it up tonight but I would get killed.
She has made home-made lasagna so the new bike will have to wait til' tomorrow.
No girlfriend at the moment, so it's just another work day. Most likely, I'll be working late, so I'll be here off and on as I get my work done.

Wow! You mean you actually control the pursestrings? I'll need to bug you for advice in the future if/when I'm married! ;) So your wife already got her gift, but you know, a token gift still wouldn't hurt.

A nice gesture but even if I came home with a token gift she would scold me for not simply giving her additional cash in lieu of this gift...... ;) :D
Heading home now... I have a date with a Kurosawa movie and the trainer. Maybe Seven Samurai... hmmm.
Me and the LeMond. Lovely.

I just bought the Criterion release of Ran. Somehow I don't think that the Mrs. will want to watch that tonight.

In my opinion, if school isn't canceled for a "so-called" holiday, it isn't a holiday.

Hanging out on Bikeforums? Heck no! I'm going to be celebrating singles awareness day the same way I always do...watching Jeopardy, cleaning the dishes, and going to bed early!
pfft... being single just means you don't have to pay for the luvin. :D
Cap'n Single here with a bowl of frosted flakes and my flannel scarf! :D

Picked up a bottle of Speyburn tonight. I was told it was ****, but it's turned out pretty tastey. Kinda has a bite to it, but I like that.
EDIT: And I just realised that Jameson is Irish. Nevermind.

Mmm... Jameson. I wish I had some Jameson. I am poor until Friday, maybe longer. So I have a bottle of Windsor Canadian. Yuck. Had mac-n-cheese for lunch, now it's a frozen pizza for dinner...

Same thing I'm doing every night, pinky. Trying to take over the world.
It was working out and working and to bed at 11:30.

Oh, don't worry. I show my love to Thunderbird the whole year round.
It was work also for me until ten, a little drinky, a little snacky and to bed early also. Why no dating for 3-4 years, my58? Are you going to jail?

Yup, out with a girl I was meeting for the first time on the night (referral from a female friend!), gotta take these things by the balls... not a valentines night as such, just a coincidence though.

V-Day was not too bad. Talked the bride into coming with me to the Houston Bike Club Meeting, trying to get her interested in riding. Met nice people, had a ham sandwich and chips at the meeting, and went to Two Rows Brewery for a couple of pints afterward. She sent me an email from her work this morning thanking me for a 'fun evening'. If her idea of fun is hanging out with bike dweebs (mostly older ones), eating a ham sandwich and having a couple of beers, I know I married the right girl 18 years ago.... :D
Of course, tonight is payback time. I'm grilling two beautiful steaks, doing baked potatoes with all the trimmings, steamed asparagus, and making a homemade angel food cake (for my angel). I guess I can stand the sacrifice.... ;)

You're not allowed to post that kind of thing here...this is for singles who eat bachelor chow and do things like WORK or STUDY on Valentine's Day. Hey Belfast-biker your sig is: :roflmao:

sounds like a good re-release.
vid store didn't have 7 samurai, so I watched "Until the Last Sword is Drawn" - not Kurosawa - but good. Really good. Japanese with English subitles... which made for an interesting ride - reading the screen and listening to Japanese...
