Hi guys, I was undecided between the Trek 4900 and the GF Tassajara. I ended up ordering the Tassajara Disk. I had to order as the dealer only had the 17.5 inch frame which was big for me. What do you think of my choice? What do you think about Fisher bikes?

my brotherinlaw has the 4900 and my fatherinlaw has the tassajara.I the bought my fisher big sur.Both are good bikes but I just liked the fisher better.You made a good choice.

Same bike company, slightly different geometries and different paint. No really! Trek owns and makes Gary Fisher bikes. The two lines parrallel each other, but GF offers the "Genesis Geometry" while the Trek is more "Traditional".

BTW, I really like the new paint scheme on the '03 Tassajara. :thumbup:
