Triathlon - tire & Tube Suggestions & Reviews

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
Can anyone reccomend a good tire for use at IMCdA
There is such a selection out there and I wanted to hear what people have to say regarding particular brands.
Same goes for tubes...any suggestions?
I've always seen good technical data, and reviews on Michelin Pro 2 race. Their Rolling resistance data was third of 40 or so tires in the Tour magaine test and they weighed way less than the two that beat them

I have had good experiance with the Michelin ones, I recently (last summer) got Contenental (forget which model, the high end racing ones) for my Tri bike, and it has held good on clean dry pavment while making a 90degree turn at over 40 kmh

this may sound crazy, but last year i put on continental gatorskins from my fixed gear for the puncture resistance, i guess i got it into my head that i'd rather be safe than run the risk of an ultralight tire + punctures for the difference in weight and rolling resistance it gave me.
I've also use michelin pro race 2....good tires
