Foo - What is up with the weather..

Back in december... we had temperatures into the 60's during midweek only to dip down into the teens and back again.
We just had the biggest snow storm of the season with temperatures in the 20's two days ago. Now, it's going to be 55 degrees for the next 3 days then within a day drop down to an overnight low of 15.

Did you see that movie, I think it was "The day after tomorrow" ? It was about an ice age. I believe a lot of it was in NYC. Go see that movie, then think about all the climate changes. It's a little spooky.

HA, i say to relying on that mvie for a reliable scientific scientific depiction of weather phenomena! it is so ful of flaws i and im not a meteorologist. thats not to say dramatic shifts dont happen, look up "the the midwest blizzard of 1888, or The Childrens BLizzard, same even. 70's around noon time, to whiteout conditions and negative 20 by early evening, from texas to north dakota.

I'll leave for a 5-hour Solvang ride with perfectly crystal-clear skies. During the ride, I'll see groups of planes flying those contrails criss-crossing the skies. By the time my ride's over, those contrails will have expanded into a grid of clouds, then a full blanket. Farmer's been doing this for decades starting in the 50's, think about the advancements since then. Just that 1976 treaty's enough to tell you they wanted to regulate the technology.

YEa I am seeing hte same weather pattern. It was 56 at the airport about 15 miles north of my house today...

I know, pretty bizarre weather. Ive taken advantage and gone riding outside any chance I have . Wednesday was bizarre riding among the 2 feet snow piles. I went riding today and most of it is melted (just in time for the storm that is now headed our way).

Sure overall the gov. may be inefficient, but that inefficiency is due to being thorough and following procedures. But smaller components of the gov. like the military is highly efficient following its SOP.

What do you think values, ethics and morals in a society do? These are taught overtly and subconciously by parents, teachers and churches. Just about everyone in the world lives within a structure of laws. These are all methods of dictating an individual's behavior to conform to the ideals of the society they live in.

Good NLP practitioners can already intentionally direct a subject's feelings and moods. Manson, Jones, Koresh, etc. and other cultists are simply skilled NLP hypnotists using those skills for their own pursuits. Heck, I can control most people's mood in a bad way by insulting them. Only slightly harder to make people feel good through compliments and guided-imagery. TMS just allows you effectively do that without the subject's participation and create those neurological changes directly.

I'm sure at one point, the idea of technology allowing people to fly was scoffed at. Or that being able to break the sound-barrier was ludicrous or that mapping the entire human-genome seemed a monumental task. Flying out into space and exceeding the speed-of-light is fanciful at best.... until someone does it! :) We've come a long way since MK ultra. There's a difference between absolute-control vs. influence, just because you don't have one, doesn't mean you don't have the other; ask any used-car salesman. ;)

seems lately it's getting especially cold and windy on the weekends but warm during the week. i need it to do the opposite. sunday is supposed to be a high of 25 with wind. that blows in more than one way. :(

The weather is starting to warm up finally but its still very cloudy. Like it wants to dump rain on us but instead just drizles a bit.
