Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Thanks for the interesting link. (There's also a link http://www.bike-on.com/ in the article - interesting site!).
I remember riding in the "Great Mass Getaway Ride" (1992) and meeting a guy who had lost a leg - he had a bike with a specially adapted saddle - apart from that, it looked just like any ordinary road-bike. He was a incredible rider, very strong and many people (including me) had a job keeping up with him. I wonder if he's still around.
