God, why do people have to classify others like this? You don't even know his name, so you just call him the dude with the fixed gear shirt. Sheesh.

sheesh yourself. rope it in a bit, willya? he is the only black actor on the show. anyway, getting back on topic, the shirt in question was discussed to death here about a year or so ago. can't remember the website it was sold on.

edit: not quite a year ago, just last summer: http://www.bikeforums.net/showthread.php?t=112035&page=1&highlight=shirt

What's the problem? That's like saying "the blonde guy" or "the guy with a beard" or "the tall guy" or describing any other physical feature.

What the **** are you talking about? The chinaman is not the issue here, dude. I'm talking about drawing a line in the sand, dude. Across this line, you DO NOT... Also, dude, chinaman is not the preferred nomenclature. Asian-American, please.

wow, am i the only one who read thriftcore's post?

anyway, on the topic of PC...i say **** PC, just be nice to people. i've known people who are PC as **** and not very nice, which sort of seems to defeat the purpose, and people who are as far from PC as it gets and perfectly good people.

so to sum it up...**** PC, just be nice. but don't get a stick up your ass about it either.

hells yeah.

INKDWHEELS is one of my closest friends. I always call him "the really big intimidating mean black guy"....he laughed about it and would then hit me. PC'ing it alittle hard around here

Oh, and nice work on the Big Lebowski quote who ever that was.

To clear up some confusion:

I "criticized" the original poster for classifying the character as a fixed gear fan.
It was a joke.

Yes! I can't believe nobody caught that brilliant line: you start reading the sentence *thinking* it's going to mention *race*, but then it does nothing of the sort and focuses on the *bike shirt* instead.

People have got a sensitive PC Clitoris around here. If you rub around it just so slightly, they go all nuts and start having convulsions.

I can't believe you had to explain that.. *shakes head in disgust*

I think this is how rumors are started on the internets.
