I need help. I just got a GT and Im having trouble with assembly. Everything is put together except for the brakes. The manual is useless and Ill try to explain what I need help with: The line that connects to the V-brake, the end of it I need to connect to the brake "handle", I guess you would call it. Please let me know how to connect this. Thanks.

I can't believe that something this simple actually requires explanation. I mean, it's pretty obvious what you're supposed to do by looking at it.

How can you figure out how to build a bike if you cant run the brake lines?

I mean, honestly, installing the fork/cranks is more difficult.

Pretty much everything aside from dialing in the brakes and truing wheels is simple on a bike. Except maybe, maybe for pounding in cups if you're a weakling.

illiteracy is excusable, ignorance is not. Maya Angelo said that. the reason im quoting her is beacause I'm just tired of all the nit-picking.

It's against the law to quote Maya Angelou if you're not black.
