Touring - Brevet Rides Fenders?

Ok all of you brevet riders, do you use fenders? All the time, or just on brevets? I am bulding up a bike for brevet riding, and am curious about fenders.
Thanks.
I use fenders on all my rides: brevets, training rides, etc. I have a love-hate relationship with them. They can be very annoying to work with and tend to have a mind of their own .... but in the pouring rain, in which I do most of my brevets, I'm very glad I have them!

I have them on all of my bikes. I am use to working around them when doing repair work. only big hassle I see with them is if you use a full front mudguard and have to take the front wheel off to transport the bike. The mudguard can get in the way or if you like the stainless steel Berthouds they can also get damaged
I don't have fenders but I am glad others do. Last week I did a 300K in the rain and found it helpful to ride behind somebody with fenders. Can anybody recommend some clip-on fenders for my Trek 5000?
I'm no breveteer yet. But I'm working on it. I am a believer in fenders - big, oversized fenders that work. Ornament them with street sweeper flaps! Cleaner bike, cleaner shoes, happier tail-gunners. :)

Try Raceblades, they seem to be popular with the weight weenie crowd. http://www.wallbike.com/fenders/raceblade.html

Only on one bike do I use fenders. My choice is the SKS sized for touring.
I have a front fender on my brevet bike. No rear fender, but the Carradice saddlebag does a reasonable job of blocking spray off the rear tire.
SKS fenders are absolutely top quality.
